Franklin: hangs out, buys weed, gets stuck in traffic. Michael: eats out with his family, works as a movie producer, watches movies alone. Trevor: I don't even know.
8:32 for those who don't know, rockstar made this Easter egg of a guy who recorded Niko riding a scooter near an npc and yelling "we are scooter brothers!" in GTA IV. Even the tone that Trevor speaks is equal
The best one that happened to me was when i finished "reuniting the family" with Michael, then the game automatically switched to Trevor where he was sleeping drunk, almost naked and surrounded by bodies on a beach and he woke up screaming "it wasn't me"
My favorite Trevor moment I've never seen again and can't seem to find on RU-vid is where he wakes up barely dressed with a bunch of dead bodies around and yells something like "It wasn't me!!" and his voice echoes like he's in a canyon
I remembered wrong, it doesn't echo, but I found it! I was starting to worry it was cut in an update or something: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qTID3-YjEWY.html
I’ll admit everyone praises the graphics and the gameplay. The options, variety, online play + all the updates, the unique vehicles for characters, etc But I think what makes this game shine is the personalities of said characters, the dialogue, the storyline, and the replay value of the game as a whole. I’ve beat this game probably a dozen times, I’ve always chose option C because I love all 3 characters.. I don’t skip cutscenes even though I’ve already seen them a million times because it’s nostalgic and hilarious and in some cases really sad. People are speed running the piss out of this game too despite it taking a minimum of 6 hours to beat the entire game’s story. (As much as 10 hours if you’re going for 100%). That’s a lot of time sitting down playing GTA! Lol Also yes people praised the graphics and I think that aspect is a bit overrated since most games have really good graphics now... but this was 6 years ago. Game was way ahead of its time! It’s also why I firmly believe we will not see GTA6 for at least 2 more years. That’s where I will say I hope they borrow the success from GTA5 and go all out on Dialogue, storyline and character development. But the game is still doing so good and is one of the most played games to this day so that’s probably why Rockstar hasn’t come out with 6 yet.. why compete against your own game 🤷🏻♂️
The switch at 1:01 actually continues much longer with much more dialogue. It ends when the person you're following drives into the small lake at the end of the river.
Fun fact, whatever car you used with Trevor most recently is what car will be parked near him when you switch to Trevor. When I first saw him on the bridge naked I had just finished the submarine heist, so next to him on the bridge was the big yellow submarine, I had so many questions...
@@user-vr2rv8qt4zit's literally true there's a mission where trevor single handedly destroy 2 tanks and a department of US soldiers in a Carnage side mission
One time I switched to Trevor and he was on a street writing in a note pad. When I started driving away I realized he was across the street from Franklin’s aunt’s house.
It's always nice to catch them in the act. Makes you realise that they're entirely autonomous and have their own lives and routines when you're not in control.
Switches to Michael or Franklin: taking a nice walk on the beaches of Los Santos on a beautiful and sunny day.. Switching to Trevor: getting chased by the entire LSPD and Military on a scooter wearing a dress
Ehhh . . . . not really, mate. There's a lot of GTA players (and average video game players in general) who know the difference between fantasy and reality. Sure, we may be regular hellions on a video game system, but we could also be cops, military personnel (which is where I first picked up the series), or even librarians (where I continued playing the series). It's not that we want the actual world to burn, we just enjoy a simulated fantasy. Let's be honest, here, anyone with half a brain knows that more than half the content portrayed in modern day video games is either impossible, suicide, or prison guaranteed. No one with any common sense actually thinks they can do this kind of stuff in reality (which is another reason why cheats are so awesome, talk about the ultimate fantasy based turnout completely devoid of reality) much less get away with what they attempt. I agree that there are those who try, but those are people who need or needed help LONG before they got their hands on a game like this. But that's just me.
Trevor is the only character that looks like he can do more interesting things on his own that when you're playing him. Unlike Michael and Franklin, this guy really looks like he's got an eventful life outside the game's story.
Lmao. Frankie and Mikey are interesting. Michael could be getting drunk at west Bahamas mamas, Vanila Unicorn, Fucking over some of Traceys stalkers or people who have shit with Jimmy. Franklin could be with lamar doing hood shit, trying another brick maybe. Anything's possible.
@@videodeposu8741 ikr? R* can make good charcters, and they do but all they really did with franklin was: "Ppl, want Cj back so what we did was we made character that had the potential to be good and interesting and actually play a MAIN part in the plot like M and T do, but we already wasted TO MUCH potential to Trevor, so we're just gonna throw Franklin into the story even tho he really serves no purpose."
@@cluckinbell1992 I'll have two number 7 a number nine large a number six with a extra dip a number seven two number 45's one with cheese and a large soda
the fact that these are all great, and i can still think of 30 more that weren't shown and are just as good, shows just how amazing and detailed this game is
Franklin: gangster, hangs out with friends, has a big house on the mountains. Michael: has a family, lives in a big house, watches movies from the 90s, is a mentor figure for Franklin. Trevor: *_ScOoOoOoTeR bRoTheRs_*
that happened to me with Franklin down by the beach one time. I left the weed store Franklin owns. all of a sudden people were running around freaking out about something and Trevor rode past on a moped in his underwear lol
Yeah. This doesn't surprise me at all. It indeed happens from time to time. Trevor, I mean, if he isn’t doing something, something is very wrong (unless he somehow gets his hands on a maybe prescribed nuclear device or decides to whack over a nuclear power plant: THEN we can panic).
cody haase that’s an intro to a mission where once you change characters Franklins icon will blink and once you switch over it spawns you at the construction site to take the blueprints to the IAA building
The lengths this game goes to explore Trevor’s personality is crazy. Even the camera moves erratically during cutscenes from his perspective. He’s truly chaos walking.
Once I switched to Trevor and found myself on the top of the mountains. Man, it was tough getting down, slipping here and there a few times with low health in the end. Then I was greeted by a mountain lion who had his feast :/
Trevor is arguably one of the best and most interesting characters in GTA. He’s basically the most realistic you can get to an insane, psychopathic criminal genius. He is very clearly unstable and plausibly insane with extreme psychopathic tendencies, but he’s very well-educated on a number of subjects and clearly capable of impressive improvisation skills and creating clever plans for criminal heists. But despite his insanity and genius, he cares deeply for the people in his life (at least, the ones that he doesn’t manipulate or abuse) and gives them his loyalty to the grave
Dude, when his own mother came back, he was groveling over her and then he went to steal that Deludarol truck at the Mount Zonah hospital…when he came back his mom wasn’t there and he bawled. He also bawled when he had to give Patricia back to her husband.
Dude he's a sick, despicable bastard lmao! 🤣 But yes, he's also by far the most interesting and best acted character in the entire game without a doubt. He's probably the best written too although I think I'll give the edge to Michael just because of how his character arc revolves through the entire game.
@@AkiraleTorimaki he has really strong connections with people that he cares about and these are great examples (basically the only examples besides Brad).
In most games I'd hate spawning with cops after me, like I didn't do anything but with Trevor it just makes me feel in character. It makes too much sense.
Farhan Tajwar yup. it's just what most of the players actually do/have done in gta. It's just that, now there's an entire playable character with the same principles.
Sometimes, it may happen that the train stops next to a factory along the rails at Sandy Shores, but it's rare, it must have happened to me twice without knowing when it does this.
Bruh it’s a crime. Not even ironic dumbass. If a person said the word “Batman” in a game and the name of the game is “Batman” does that make it ironic?
I'm surprised this video only close to 10mins 😂 if GTAV was 1st release today it probably has endless possibilities of what Trevor might be doing if we switch to him
talking about the dispatcher, anybody else fucking hate how she goes "uhh" every two fucking seconds? every goddamn time it pisses me off so fucking much
