My parents had a traditional guest house in South Shore in early 1970’s, it was very hard work providing Bed, Breakfast and evening meal. My early memories of those days were very different to how it is now. When I went back a few years ago and saw it I was sad to see it very run down, no longer a guest house, it is good to see some are still going well

APPEARED VERY CLEAN, AND DECORATED UP TO A HIGH STANDARD COMPARED TO SOME OF THESE PREMISES IN BLACKPOOL.

Have to say, nicely surprised with the standard of the hotel. I used to live at the other end of Barton Avenue over 30yrs ago & it was the demise of the area that made me start my own Channel recently Glad there’s still some really nice places Great video

According to what I have seen on A Walk On The Wild Side Blackpool seems to be full of Beer Monsters and Graffiti everything seems to be kicking off in Blackpool

Of course there is some of that - there is in every town. But that's far from the story about Blackpool - in at least equal measure it's an amazing place with much to find and see. With a record 20m visitors at the last count.
