In my 25 years of residency, I've never witnessed such levels of violence until now. The heavy traffic has worsened, making simple commutes, like the five-minute drive to Beaver Creek, now take up to 30 minutes due to congestion. Additionally, the cost of living has skyrocketed, with homes that were once $200k now reaching $900k to $1 million. North Carolina's education rankings vary depending on the specific metrics and studies used. Generally, it falls within the range of 30th to 40th place among U.S. states in terms of overall education quality. This shift feels far from the peak of good living; rather, it's more like the peak of destruction.

@@lindaeverett8848 well the cost of living and increased traffic, and increase in population growth, is rampant in many cities and towns, not only in America but in many countries around the world. I've lived in 5 countries and visited over 50, and Apex is far from alone. When places are constantly on "best places to live" lists that amplifies the situation, and unfortunately growth comes with lots of growing pains. I can't speak to the education metrics and schools, but obviously they are under-resourced and underfunded as well.
