You can use any type of oil I used olive oil then leave it overnight but use as much as you can of oil because you are gonna wash it with shampoo anyways
I find if I put my hands through my hair when it's hot and sunny sometimes some strands of hair will come out, which isn't the case in cold weather. Can definitely tell the sun has an impact. I like the Label M Thickening Cream for my fine hair which claims to have sun protection
