I'm in my sixty's and still like mine long. It's often worn up but when I want it to look really nice, it just takes a wash, a little serum and a blow dryer. Right now it needs a trim and some face framing and long layers. No doubt that would add aa wonderful flare. But to cut it off just seems like extra work!! And more trips to the hairdresser on a frequent basis.
Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you’re not attractive anymore. Not everyone needs a short haircut either. Wear what makes you feel good about yourself ❤
True true! I cut my long hair thinking I’d love it.. nope! Never again. I am now in my early 60’s and have long hair.. shoulder length.. with layers and I won’t go gray. We all have to be true to ourselves.❤
@@MargaretUKtell that to the first responders in NYC who survived catastrophic numbers of COVID patients dying in front of them; to the point that bodies were stored in meat lockers until they could be buried. I am truly disgusted by people who have not researched any of this but proffer nonsense opinions anyway. This country has been destroyed by “conspiracy theorists”.
This style is the only game in town according to these guys if you are older than 30! Basically the inverted mullet! Business at the back, party at the front 😂
normally very short cuts on older women make them look even older but not in this case. The short cuts are gorgeous, some very 60s. This guy is very talented.
I'm just glad they didn't give that woman with the gorgeous long dark hair a short style. The cut they gave her was perfect. Enough with the short cuts, let's get some shoulder length, or collarbone length, cuts in there too!
Why is every older women makeover, short hair? Typically, when I see a older woman with longer hair, and it's healthy I think she looks younger. Short hair as a set standard is like saying, I am done looking pretty, and now I have to look boring.
I hate that "Karen" hairstyle they give to every older woman these days. (Long on top and front, short at nape, tapering up from front to back.) its like here you go, you're old, I cut it, now go away.
I Love these cuts. I’m a huge fan of the undercut whether your hair is long or short. If it’s thick, get some of the bulk out. For me, short hair is easier to make professional vs my long and unruly hair that would go frizzy.
It would be interesting to see what these cuts look like without allthe styling gel, wax, blowdrying, etc. Are they still attractive, or do they look mousey? What will they look likt to eh people who see them at home, living day-to-day?
I’ve had short hair & longer hair & longer is by far easier to maintain & more versatile! It’s also cheaper, most if not all of these styles need a lot more maintenance & constant trimming than longer hair in my opinion
Short back, longer sides etc. It's the modern replacement for the blue rinse perm. What's the alternative now to crimplene and saddles with tights for the older woman 👵 😂😂
Short hair looks great if you have a crisp jawline and neck. It accents a loose jawline and neck if you have these. I’m 59 but definitely look better with collarbone length hair
I had middle length hair, and grew it out so long carefree do nothing on it, gets lots of compliments from teens and adult women strangers on my long hair but it's so frizzy, maybe the photos don't really show it off or something. Anyways, wanting to cut if off to mid length again, but sort of wanting to defy my previous misconception about older women having to have short hair, which is why I had mid length.
I like short hair because it's easy and chic, and these cuts are well executed, but my face went from oval to thin and oblong with age. I need my curly hair to at least touch my shoulders to camouflage things a bit. When my hair is cut chin-length or shorter, it just highlights my lower face and makes me look more aged.
So, for all the folks wondering who's singing the 1st few songs, I finally found her! Vicki Vox- Baby Bye is the first song. Love her voice & style! You're welcome! ❤️😘👍🤩
A good haircut makes the difference, it doesnt matter what color your hair is, if you have a good style. Always tip your stylist well. What mom taught me😊
Problem with short cuts is its all in my face & heavy on my neck when I am sweating outside in the garden. These are perhaps for women who can maintain that "every hair in place" look. If that you- great. I sure wish I could figure it out.
All the cuts are beautiful everyone look so sexy no matter what age now how do l find someone like you that knows what they are doing here in NC I've yet to find someone
Women tend to look horrible when they chop off their hair, as they get older… I’m assuming that idea of short hair for old women came from a gay hairstylist who didn’t like women looking better that him… Ugh! 🙄
Super long hair tends to look ratty tjr longer it gets. If your hair is regularly trimmed it helps. Seniors also tend to lose fullness as their hair tends to thin as we age. If your hair doesn't do this, give us all your secrets.
The first woman is not that old, just prematurely grey. If she lifted the colour to blonde, she would look 15 years younger. Fact of the matter is, grey hair is ageing. My elderly mother and all her friends are grey with the exception of one who darkens her hair professionally. She looks at least 15 years younger than her peers.
Who started the silly notion that if you're older you need to have short hair?? I don't want to look like my old grandma. I have long hair and love the way it looks! I just cannot understand why even this hair guy only chops off the hair of an older woman., except for one lady who has some length. You can do so many styles with long hair,
