I looked up Halwa Kiss on Fragrantica and in the Reminds Me Of section I noticed Jardins de Misfah, a scent that I believe you've raved about in the past. Does it smell similar to you? I noticed that they do share many notes so perhaps that why you are so drawn to Halwa Kiss. Would love a video on fragrances that you like/love that are similar but different enough to have in a collection.
I can see the similarities but I still think they are quite different. Halwa Kiss is way more lighter in the rose and has the nutty quality. You can easily mistake them as being part of the same fragrance house for sure. If you also like a Jardins de Misfah you would highly like Helwa Kiss
I live in a place with a lot of air pollution (Newport Beach) and I hate that nasty metallic wet dog smell that clings to my hair when I go outside. It just makes me feel so dirty, even if I’ve just showered. So I really enjoy clean, fresh fragrances that can kind of mask the smell of the air pollution. Meliora is a recent purchase that I’ve been loving as well as Valaya. I’m anxiously awaiting bottles of Muschio Bianco (aka White Moss) from Acca Kappa and Telea by Terenzi. I loved Muschio Bianco but I haven’t smelled it in many years since their Vegas store closed. I hope it’s as good as I remember. Telea is a beast that can cover the smell of just about anything 😂 Great summer fragrance. I also have a bunch of samples and my scentbirds coming in the mail. I’m such a fiend lately, lol. Looking forward to trying a couple BDKs and Terenzi’s other fragrance lines which I never hear anyone mention.
As always, beautiful video. Jardins de Misfah is my newest bottle. I haven't worn it as yet, waiting for fall for my first wear. Gave it a couple sprays so it'll be ready.
Halwa is an Indian/south Asian dessert that is sweet (not too much) creamy and nutty! Also Josephine from jus de rose has been talking about it for a couple of years now and I’ve been meaning to try it for a while now!
Argos house is amazing. Like you, I slept on this house for 2 years before finally getting 3 of their fragrances (Triumph of Bacchus, Adonis Awakens and Pour Femme) Another less talked about fragrance that I think you should try is Pallas Athene, it’s stunning, I don’t have the bottle but it’s my favorite🥰
Some great discoveries here for sure . I’m interested in a review of the Jeroboam fragrance. I have three from the house I find their fragrances so unique and love the size of the bottles
Wow, I just blind bought Halwa Kiss, about a week ago! Too strong for the summer, though, so I’ll wait to see how I feel about it in the colder weather.
