WOW awesome job man, flying the R22 right now as a student pilot I’m looking forward to maybe flying a real helicopter like the Astar sometime in the future :D
Great shots, love the overhead views.👍🏻 You in contact with the person flying the drone at the time? How visible is the drone to you when you're flying the helicopter and the drone is in the air too?
Yes have radio contact between chopper and drone pilot and always only fly the drone in pre planned areas, which will almost always be areas that the helicopter won't or can't fly. The drone is visible if you know where to look for it. If not it is very hard to spot especially if you are on a mission with a high workload.
Hi, I like to try and find the different places you do your sling work in. But Norway 🇳🇴 is massive. If you could just put the nearest town, village, mountain or lake/fiord in the notes it would be very much appreciated. In Microsoft Flight Simulator the mapping of the world is really good, and now there are Helicopters I can fly to the exact location and try to learn from your work. Love all your videos. Regards, Ray.
Great footage again ! Thanks ! BTW, I'm now at 32 flight hours in R44 and you helped me quite a lot to make the call to start that, you're awesome, keeping doing this, you're inspiring for a lot of people !
@@UpsideDownWash It is, we did an "around France" trip with my flight school, 4 days, around 27h of flight per machine, 3 Helis, R44 Raven II, R44 Clipper II and a Bell 206 Jetranger, it was so great !
What are you talking about??? You can not think that the Helicopter Pilot is controlling the drone can you?? Or that the two Pilot's (helicopter and drone) do not take every precaution to make sure that they are safe at all times.
