I just stumbled upon this and I have to say that these fans are awesome. I go to NHL games here in Montreal and the atmosphere isn't 1/10th as awesome as this. I have to go to a game in Sweden.
@@FlickanIDetKroktaRummet Definitely not, yes, we can get pretty mad if we lose important games, but up to the next game, we've basically lost all of that and we're back to our usual atmosphere
@@hugobacklund3811 AIK? Haha 2000 on normal games. Djurgården have the second highest decibel level in the world. For sports played indoors. They have over 20 decibel lowder on average than AIK have on average. And they have over 30 decibel lowder as their best than AIK have as their best. When AIK played the game against Djurgården on hovet then Djurgården played theirs even the commentators said Djurgården created much better atmosphere than AIK did. AIK hockey fans are not even close to the same level as Djurgården.
Yes, the same. I have been in the matches of Djurgården. One of the best crowds in the whole Europe. Adler Mannheim, Zurich, and Bern have also good ones.
Pretty impressive, I didn't know there were ultras singing during the games in Sweden. If I go to Sweden once, I'll assist a hockey game for sure. It's like in Switzerland, even though I think the ultras are more "ultra" here. We have highly skilled Swedish players in our teams, like Fredrik Pettersson who is pretty impressive. Swedish and Finns are my favorite hockey players.
This arena is holds 13850 and we could easily fill it a few times over for important games. And in your first post that there’s probably more ultras in Switzerland I think you’re wrong about that. We have a very strong ultra and supporter culture in Sweden. Just type djurgarden in the search box here on youtube. You’ll find many football clips as well there but its the same club.

Wow, I hate this fighting between countries. Americans and Swedes have always been friendly. Don't let a few people on youtube represent the entire country's opinion. Here in America we love watching the Swedes in the NHL and it's really impressive at how a small country constantly produces top-end talent. Same with Finland, Slovakia, and Czech Republic. Cheers!
How can you not lose with fans supporting like that. Djurgarden are more passionate fans than any I watch on Hockey night in Canada. Except, maybe the Québécois in Montreal.
Jiri hudler from the Detroit Red Wings just came back from the KHL last year and he said that the KHL was nothing compared to the the NHL. He said the level of play in the NHL was higher the fans are better and playing for the Stanley Cup is the greatest thing in hockey...

You're saying that European players only come over to North America for the money well the money they are makeing is coming from the fans that are paying to go to the games that would mean we have more fans do to the fact that your leauge cant pay them enough to stay in your leauge...
Tyck vad du vill grabben, på hockeyn är det inte mycket till fight. Gnaget står som sagt upp bra i medgång i en match men vid lika eller DIF ledning är det kross.
You have a population of 313 million people, we have a population of 10. That means you have 31.3 people on one in Sweden. Saying we are only good at one sport? We have produced some of the best football players in the world (even tho' we can only practice it half a year because of the winter (ever seen a good canadian/american footballer?)). We have won eight World Championships and three olympic golds in Hockey. We have the most titles in handball.
As a Hammarby fan I wish we one day could be in the SHL together with you and AIK. Would be awesome and great for Swedish hockey as well since it's not at all on the same leven that it used to be. Late 90's-early 2000's i think ice hockey was as big as football almost, novadays it's nowhere near.
We are talking about fans, not players. Yes i know there are swedes playing college hockey. The funny thing is that they have a concert during the games.
Are you kidding me? DIF have more fans than just in Stockholm! Its "only" 13 000 in this arena. At least 9000 are for ever faithful, while some are new fans and other kids.
No need to get all defensive about it. I just stated that the Finns were the first ones to invent the ice skates, estimated at about 4000 years ago. I know the Canadians invented the hockey, I never sought to deny that, I'm just stating that the Finns invented the skates which are, among other things, used for hockey. Can't even state a simple fact without someone getting his panties in a bunch...
when it come to hockey aik have no fans. 3000 every game compared to Djurgarden that fill the arena every game. Their fans are without competition the best hockeyfans in the world.
@Godisfinger Jag snackar om AIK? AIK har snittat under 2000 ett par år, då lämnade man Hovet tillfälligt. AIK snittar ca. 5000 i år (men de har haft många 3000 matcher) medan vi snittar typ 7500.
Vadå inte så många hockeyintresserade? Kan man få slutsålt när det är viktiga matcher eller när det spelas derby är det inte intresset som är lågt utan de som bara går på de "speciella matcherna" är antingen medgångare eller hobbysupportrar.
@Reapent You said it yourself "The entire place was standing and cheering for the last 5 minutes of the game" well this is what its like for 60min during a game in sweden.

@aelvisful First of all I'm not swedish so I couldn't care less if you think you're better than the guys shown in the vid. Secondly, if you read carefully you could have spotted that i mentioned that "the louder the better". What's wrong with you guys? Who cares who's the "best" fans? As long as you're having fun at a hockey game it's all good.
They are not even close to this. Djurgårdens IF have the best hockey fans in the world. Disprove me if you can. It is only to search at Djurgårdens IF and you will be impressed.
Nej de har de verkligen inte. Speciellt inte i Scandinavium. De borde spela i Frölundaborg. Minns när det nästan bara var ståplatser under 2005, då var det tryck! Dock kommer de nog inte upp i samma standard som stockholmslagen,.

@MegaDIF Jag vill påstå att er klack var som sämst just i derbyna säsongen som var, i det fjärde derbyt som ni vann med 4-1 hördes ni klart mest och hade ett hyfsat tifo (vi hade inget tifo och var reducerade på grund av vallgravarna) men i de övriga derbyna var vi klart bättre. Men sant att vi inte var så bra som vi kunde varit under hela säsongen.
I typed in "Montreal hockey fans". All i found was something like "Montreal fans going to game and a fight breaks out". So u compare fighting to this? U just sing ur national anthem and thats it, it can`t be compared to this.

You think that you would'nt be playing better if you heard a couple of thousand people cheering your teams name? 09:30 The player said "as you hear we have fantastic fans,they have supported us 100% through the whole season and its great having someone cheering for you". Have you ever heard a player say that in nhl?(only time i've heard it is when a player have played his whole career for the same team and have retired and want his jersey hanging in the roof

Det har varit 10 år nere i allsvenskan, när flera AIKare får ett större intresse för hockey (det kommer det att bli) så kommer fler komma. Men det är dyrt att gå på hockey, speciellt om man går både på alla AIKs matcher (fotboll samt hockey). Men som sagt det kommer, det kommer.
Varför ska jag "försvara" det? Jag sa ju innan att det inte är så många hockeyintresserade AIKare och att det troligen kommer ändras med tiden. Så nu måste jag försvara att vi har dåliga publiksiffror? Ser du ens vad jag skriver

@gnagarelivetut flera gånger har vi haft ett fullsatt globen och fått 13000 pers att stå och hoppa och sjunga med till ole ole ola. Det har aldrig h¨änt i svensk hockey förut att en hel arena hoppar tillsammans. Och det har absolut inte aik haft för jag har sett alla era slutspelsmatcher osv och inget sånt hände där

Du har tydligen inte sett en NHL-match, det är ju bara massa pensionärer som sitter och käkar hamburgare och dricker läsk, de klappar bara när det blir mål och när spelarna slåss.
