Thanks for the feedback Reggie. Is much appreciated. Will see if we can fit in an updated review into this year's schedule if people are interested in it.
I got the Well Putt 10ft yesterday and used it today. Love it! Best mat I've ever used and I have tried several. It has two different stamp speeds depending on putt direction. it comes with a pretty substantial booklet that has various games and "rounds " you can play to keep practices interesting and fun. Its a great product...very versatile.
That's great Frank and delighted your enjoying your new Wellputt mat. Don't forget there's also a smart phone app which gives more good practice ideas and games alongside the booklet. Hope all the practice goes well and pays dividends the next time you hit the course!
Putt-out is to short. doesn't offer over ten feet. Birdieball is to fast says its a 9-10 stimp rolls at 12+ unless you lay it over carpet ( i don't have any carpet). Wellputt is amazing rolls 9-10 comes in 13 feet or a 26ft and a shorter but the 13 is perfect for 90% of ppl.
Absolutely agree the Wellputt is a great mat and definitely one to recommend. Still think the Puttout although short is great value though when looking at the prices of them both so still a good option for people who are happy to focus on those shorter putts. Not tried the Birdieball yet but definitely on the list to do so soon!
I got the 13' WellPutt this year A great mat all around. Your ratings if it are proper. Love all the challenges you can do. They have their app with games/challenges, but it does need a bit of work to be perfect, but it is there. You should find somewhere with a quintic putting fitting system and get fit for a putter/that putter fit to your stroke. Your putter lie is extremely heel heavy.
I was intending to buy the Perfect Practice Putting mat. So started watching review vids. Disappointed you haven’t reviewed that one. Having said that, it was a good & interesting review, and given me food for thought.
Glad you enjoyed the reviews Jamie and we'll definitely look at the Perfect Practice mat going forward as have been a few comments on it. At first glance love the smaller hole to target your practice at on it but suspect I would still prefer how easy the Wellput is to roll out and put away vs. the Perfect Practice chunkier version. Hope you get something sorted for your practice.
A few people have asked 'What about the Perfect Practice mat?' We've now added a review on that one also again comparing it head to head which you can see here! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U-3yznLKeIM.html
Thanks for the tip and that certainly seems to the consensus amongst the comments. A legacy of too much time spent copying Seve as a youngster I think!
@@GolfingFocus My friends for years have been telling me the toe is too high, yet I out putt them almost every round, what ever works best for you is the most important.
Some pros prefer the toe up technique. A guy could always put it on loft and lie machine to go more flat. If needed. Or like the Old Ping cast putters, like I've got, just pull out the mallet and give the head a wack until lie is perfect for you. My rubber mallet is named 'The Persuader' Big fan of toe up putting. Cheers
Think the par 3 putt-a-bout is made by the same company i tested with the Forbes mat in this video. Must confess I struggled with the kink in it I could never get flattened out. Great stuff though if your version is rolling out flat and you’re getting good practice with it for your own putting. 👍
