Monsoon season in the serene landscapes of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. A girl gang with an age range spanning three decades - my daughter, her friend, my cousin visiting from New Zealand, my niece, and me. We were in dire need of a break from the mundane, and we set out on a girls' trip for the ages.
Our adventure began in Rishikesh, where we checked into the Backstayz Hostel. The hostel had all the vibes we craved - a lounge area, a kitchenette that required a trade-off of cooking for cleaning, a rooftop café, a workstation, and even a yoga & meditation room. Now, mind you, we opted for private rooms, but that hostel spirit? Oh, we had it in abundance!
There's something enchanting about dancing in the rain with the backdrop of the Himalayas. And oh, did we dance! We sang our hearts out, fueled by cups of tea and coffee that seemed endless. And those meals? They had the warmth and comfort of 'ghar ka swad,' bringing us a taste of Pahadi home.I have stayed here twice in last 6 months & it feels like second Home now.
Rooms have all major facilities & absolutely clean.
We found stay to be safe for travellers.Dorms cost you around Rs.350/- onwards whilst Private rooms Rs.1500 (off season)
my experience says if you call them directly you will get better rate than third party portals.
