Americans love hot dogs. In this edition of "So Cal's Best," Glenn Ross searches the south land for the best places to get the perfect dog. Glenn takes a look at "Portillos" in Moreno Valley. Jeri Reeder takes us to "Vicious Dogs" in North Hollywood, Noah Park travels to "Pink's Hot Dogs" in Buena Park and Krista D' Angelo wraps it up with "Let's Be Frank." Portillos is the best. their Chicago dogs and Italian beef is out of this world delicious. i have relatives and friends out of state who visit and their first destination is always Portillos first!

Unfortunately you didn’t get the best hotdog restaurant in the south on your show. Hot dog world in Hendersonville NC is by far the best hotdog in the south! They sell upwards of 6,000 hot dogs a week! People drive as far as Florida to come here for his hotdogs! Get the slaw dog and you’ll be hooked for life! I’ve enjoyed them for the past 36 years!

Seriously, why do these people think putting a whole "garden" on their hotdogs is good? It just takes away from the flavour and origination of a great tasting hot dog!
