The first time i encountered this boss, nearly beat him. I wasnt focusing or anything. Thinking this boss is easy, i took a chilled approach in my second encounter couldnt beat him. Now i am at my 10th tries 😅
Haha pillar stance is great for this boss and if u got the wind tamer u can stun him then immobilise for more damage the if u got the rock transformation very handy as u take no shock damage
I don’t even have the wind tamer thing, all i did was run under his belly constantly and just spam my light attacks, was janky as hell. Fire wolf staff dude is a must though.
Watched your video before i got to this boss just because of how hard people say it is. Literally got it my 2nd try. that duplication immobolize method took LITERALLY ALL OF HIS HEALTH
When you first fight this guy it's a bit crazy because he's really the first boss that flys so that's a little crazy. But as said in the vid freeze him and used your wind chime to get / keep him on the ground. One small tip i'd give is that before you go into the fight there is a small area to the left side of the lake with zombies type enemies. I'd go and beat them up to give yourself a heavy attack right from the off. It worked pretty good for me.
that first grab always takes 99.9% of my health and his follow up is impossible to dodge... what an amazing boss. Game of the year my ass. 7/10 at best

Ok I've not seen anyone talk about this, but you can miss an interesting curio on this stage. You have to go right stay as close to the wall and run around the lake and you'll find it. I think it's a stamina one, can't remember.
Bro are you sure its a curio? I did a whole lap around the lake and didnt find it, but I found a soak instead.. called Stranded loong's whisker.. maybe its that? Thx anyway

There's definitely way more shit going on in this video than what you're saying. I followed it to a T. Immobilised, then did pluck of many, then brought him to the ground with the wind tamer and we didn't even get a quarter of his life down. Your clones are all shooting green things as well. I'm guessing this is new game plus with a bunch of extra sparks spent on heaps of different shit
Hey guy's, this works. The first 4 to 5 times i tried it, i thought it was bs. It's all about timing. If you time it right, you can take down over half it's hp right from the start. Here's how. When the dragon is low, freeze him. YOU HAVE TO BE CLOSE ENOUGH TO TOUCH HIM when freezing him. Immediately use your "A Pluck Of Many." As soon as you use it, Immediately use your "Wind Tamer." Do all those steps as fast as you can. If it works right, you'll be able to knock him down twice before he's ready to start fighting again. Im telling yall, i did it that way, and by the time i was finished and he was back ready to start attacking me, he only had around a quarter of his hp left. I hope this helps someone out. Just stick with this method because i promise it works.
I couldn't get this method to work cuz I kept forgetting to use the windtamer once I actually remembered to use it made all the difference in the world. Finally beat him. Thanks for the video dude.!
Very hard boss, but fun. The wind tamer skills works very well because it drops him from the sky, do this immediately to give you some time to hopefully build another charge. Then Save up your focus points and use your jump attack with a fully upgraded immobilization. That does a lot of damage. The hardest part is figuring out the dodge for the move where he picks you up but I found dodging towards him did the trick. Next try to save the fire fox transformation because the heavy attack is great for leaping towards him for damage. He actually doesn’t have a ton of HP so it gets a lot easier when your master the dodge. Plus shock potions ready
My boy keeps dropping heat vids on bow to def at enemies MUCH easier and faster. Like holllyy shii in a matter of seconds that boss's health DECIMATED 😭💀 ima say this too, thanks to you, ive been useing your set so far and im ERASING literally everything in my path🤣 this immobilization, a pluk of many, and the rest of your go to skill sparks have been helping me ALOT thank you so much 🙏
Man, it’s usually easy to learn the bosses moves and workout a strategy to beat them, but this one was a little annoying AF because he was in the air most of the time. But your strategy helped ALOT, I didn’t think the wind tamer would be so useful in the fight…
Feel I should note this felt a little more dependent on being closer to level 50 in terms of skill points. I was only 40 going into the fight so couldn’t get as much damage output from clones as I would want from this method. Good method in all just warning for people getting to the fight without as many skill points
I just came to this boss and I'm level 39 and was thinking the same thing. I don't even have some of the skills unlocked since they unlock at 45. Still a good guide, but feels level dependant.
I went back to rockrest flat in ch2 and grinded for mindcores on the spike back enemies and got up to level 57. I think with this strategy and my wind tamer I’ll probably get this on the first few tries.
@@BatDad-qu4foit is at a point... Also you'll need to craft celestial pills to permanently increase your mana. I think mana is most important first before hp and Stam or defense
Took me about 10 tries at 43. His hit boxes are terrible. This strategy works to get him to 1/2 health at that lvl. With all your heals, then it’s just being patient. Wasn’t my favorite fight, despite the cool design
The real trick is to put on the armor that you got in chapter one which recovers your health when it falls below 50% while you are on water (which apparently includes ice). With the armor his bite can't kill you even if it is very low because he will end with smashing you to the ice very hard and that activates the armor's healing effect.
Nah I'm really good at memorizing the attack patterns so imma just sweat this one out with perfect dodges and hopefully come back 10 minutes later to edit my comment on whether I won or not Got him to 10% second try and perfect dodged multiple moves that I hadn't seen before and didn't even know about I've got this in the bag
I’m level 73 but put almost all of my sparks into the smash stance. I tried a few times. I came closest to beating him on the first try. I suck at these games so have to OP
