I've found that the abundance of brown, tan, and Grey in nature versus the small amount of green percentage wise, makes green unnecessary. Green attends to itself.
@@CamoMatrix besides what the people who developed ASAT camouflage said, I woke up to this principle especially in Fall in Louisiana and Mississippi whenever folks were simply using the "duck hunting" pattern with the tan covered in brown and black leopard frog spots, and later when people were using Desert Storm Chocolate Chip Cookie dough camouflage. But for the blaze orange, they were hard to see.
Thanks man! Have you seen my other videos. Ive been pumping out quite a few. Hoping my “camo showdowns” become popular. I can compare any camo side by side in 16 backgrounds
A tip an old man taught me about camouflage dint look right at it look in the center of the screen and see which brands stand out in your peripheral vision and the ones that dont
Some of those really blended in very good. Would be cool if you could do the same with different leafy ghillie suits vs the grassy ghillie suits to see which ones make you disappear and which ones make you more visible.
@@CamoMatrix very cool. I hid in the bushes on Halloween night in my full leafy ghillie suit and no one saw me until I jumped up and went raaahhh. Got alot of high fives, good comments and laughs from the spooked trick or treaters and parents. Lol everyone had great fun that night.
@@chadroehrick Awesome! I am working on a new one that will include Huntsworth's patterns. This time I am going to include "deer" vision since people have asked for that even though camo is relative to its surroundings, I will include a mimicked deer vision. (long wave color subdued and ultraviolet enhanced)
@@CamoMatrix i bought it the 90's when it was reasonable. Thx. Silent predator is very similar which i own grizzly coat and better priced. Grey ghost camo
I can't seem to find the pattern sold any longer with a few quick searches. At one point it was called Wasatch but for reason I don't know, it was changed to TD X, which was developed by A-TACS You can see it down low in this page: www.a-tacs.com/our-patterns
This is an excellent video. Are there any filters that could give us “deer vision” since the cones in their eyes function differently than ours? Lol you read my mind, found the deer vision video.
Browning has changed up their line. This camo now seems to have a name A-TACS TD-X now but is had to get. They seem to be using other trademark camo styles more than Hell's Canyon and Wasatch that they used to have.
@@CamoMatrix yup it is. To be honest I also like Atacs-fg, Kryptek Mandrake , pencott greenzone or quite new concamo. But MC is my favourite and trust me I named only half of its clones. Its so widely used camo that I consider it 3rd geneneation of field clothing. 1st gen being Olive green (WW1,WW2, KOREA, VIETNAM and Grenada. Thats 1918-1983 (75years!) 2nd was none other than Woodland and its milons clones start of field use with ERDL in late 60s NAM through 70s RDF, M81. Classic US woodland climax was in 2000s. From invention in 1948 to digital modernisation. (Nearly 50 years) And with future soldier program in 2002...Mc era came to life. So far 20 years And its worldwide ( even North Korea noticed this beauty of camo.
@@CamoMatrix I think Browning Wasatch and Under Armour Forest are pretty good here! I could imagine True Timber htc green would also work in this surrounding
