We Used Two 15 Watts Bulbs.....But If You Want To Use 60 Watts & Higher Watts Bulb Then Use it With Temperature Controller.....Don't Kept The Eggs Exact Below the Bulbs That May Spoil the Eggs by Over Heating....Water Bowl Should Be Exact Below Light To Produce Higher Humidity W3001 Temperature Controller:- amzn.to/3NtGMjF NOTE:- Above Mentioned Links Are Affiliate Links Which Means If You Purchase Through These Links We Will Get Small Commission, But You Will Get The Product at Original Price
I made a incubator out of a Styrofoam 1 inch thick cooler. I put in 3 bricks to moderate temperature . Household thermometer only. NO thermostat. Takes couple of days to heat up with small bulb, but the temperature is very constant. All alive after 7 days except 2 cracked.
How did this turn out I'm doing a Styrofoam cooler no fan might just put a few rocks at the bottom like lava rock and egg crate on top and just add water for humidity
The humidity is controlled by the water pan that he put inside there, the water gradually evaporates and adds to humidity, while the bedding kept things from getting to moist
So how I’m I going to maintain the temperature to 37.5 to 39 degrees and maintain the humidity level too from 45% to 60%.I am really interested in this nice work but I want an explanation
@@beastLdrago Buy a temp and humidity sensor. If temp goes high, lower the wattage of bulb or buy a temp controller that has a knob which you can rotate to set watts. Or just buy a fan speed controller. For humidity, increase or decrease container size or number of containers depending on if humidity is high or low
hello friend how many watts did you use in this lamp and how many liters does this plastic box have please i am interested in making an incubator like this video.you made 1 hole in the lid you left it closed Until the 21 day of the hatching of the chicks thank you for understanding greetings from Brazil👍😊
Thank You So Much For Feedback....We Used 15 Watts Bulbs and The Hole Is For Ventilator (For Fresh Air) Small Hole is Enough....Yes Lid Should be Kept Closed until Chicks Hatches (Till 19-24 Days).....Open the Lid When you Rotating the Eggs and Close it Hatching Eggs In Incubator :- Procedure 1.Must Maintain Temperature Between 37°C - 39°C & Humidity 45% - 60% For Best Results 2.Rotate The Eggs Daily 3 Times Till 18th Day 3.Use Fresh Fertile Eggs (2-10 Days Old Eggs) 4.Chicken Eggs Takes 21 Days to Hatch...Some Times Hatches Between 19th to 24th Day All The Best
Yes We Didn't Use Temperature Controller in this Incubator.... We Observes the Incubator Temperature Regularly as We Doing this Process Since 10-12 Years....We Face Minor Difficulties to Maintain Temperature but its Works.....But We Suggest you to use W3001 Temperature Controller for Automatic Control.....All the Best
Yes You Can Use Dry Grass,Wood Husk,News Papers,Cotton Cloth etc instead of Rice Husk....You Can Use 15 Watt or 25 Watt Bulbs for Small Incubators and Red thing is Straw Pipe Just used for Ventilation.... Make Small Hole for Ventilation is Enough No Need Of Straw Pipe
Just untill they are dried off and you are sure the hatch is done. Not all the eggs will hatch, so 12 hours after they are dried off you can move them to a brooder.
Bro We Are Using 15W, 25W and 40 Watts Bulb It Can Only Produce Heat That We Required to Hatch Eggs.....100W+ Watts Bulbs May Damage Eggs as well as Incubator Visit Here for Incubator Materials:- amzn.to/3wAsWIf (Affiliate Link)
Newborn Chicks Fully Feathered With in 24 Hours...You Can Kept The Chicks In Incubator Till 24 to 36 Hours.....If Some Chicks Didn't Hatch Even After Day 22 Then Remove The Already Hatched Chicks from the Incubator and Kept them in Brooder (Brooder is Nothing But a Warm Place Where Chicks Can Live for a Week and Brooder Temperature Should Be Between 30°C to 34°C)....Hopefully You Understand...All the Best
Its Called Rice Husk/Rice Hull...It is Just for Bedding....Helps the Eggs to Stay at One Place..You Can Use Dry Grass,Wood Husk,News Papers,Cotton Cloth etc instead of Rice Husk
at the Time We Made this Incubator then it was Winter Season Temperature Always Stays Below the 41 Degree and With Two 15 Watts Bulbs Temperature Fluctuates Between 36 to 39 Degrees Hence We Didn't Use Thermostat...But We Recommend to Use W3001 Temperature Controller for Better Results...All the Best
I liked the video but no one is explaining the details, just showing. You are not telling us the watts of the bulbs, where you found your own and how you kept humidity at the right level along with the heat.

The best egg incubator is a broody hen. Because after they hatch she will take care of them. She will teach them how to chicken. Plus, you only have to take care of her until they hatch. Success rates in hatching are similar to using an incubator.
@@MrTweetyhack yes, I did ages ago I AG class. And have had many flocks in the last thirty years. You can say what you will but they do better with a hen for a momma than a human.
Obviously a broody hen is the best option but many hens nowadays won't go broody because they've been bred and modified to be egg layers and or meat chickens.
I had a bad hen who would lay on the eggs until they hatched then she would kick the chick's out. I took the eggs away and no stores had incubators so I put them in a rubber made bin in my laundry sink and hung a heat lamp over them I would mist with water and turn several times a day. I don't suggest unless no other options but half hatched and lived.
Incubação de Ovos de Galinha na Incubadora:-Procedimento 1. Faça a incubadora conforme mostrado no vídeo 2.
