Jk paper doesn't show sheen of ink. More than the gsm it's the coating which makes a paper fp friendly. Thanks for sharing though

In my experience, classmate(soft cover notebook) paper doesn't have any serious kind of ghosting issues. As a student, I have been using these copies for over 2 years with different kinds of inks and nibs. Though the paper isn't suitable for very wet inks(for e.g. Bril Turquoise Blue) but it works absolutely fine with staple inks(for e.g. Quink or Bril Royal Blue). Considering budget friendly requirements of students, it's one of the best choices available in our Indian market.

The nib is the main criteria. If we use ef or f nib then a 70 GSM paper is good. But if we use a m nib then minimum 100 GSM paper is useful . But if we use a B, BB or flex nib then 110 GSM or above is necessary. The brand of paper, pen or ink matter only about brightness and gloss of the paper.

First of all your content is really impressive... can you make a video on coated paper and check which Number of GSM is perfect for writing with fountain pen...

JK Cedar is very smooth paper and is not friendly for inks with sheen.

You should review the notebook style papers. Like AYUSH paper. What is the point of showing ream printer style papers. Why would we write on individual sheets? Where would we keep them?

I feel the classmate or any generic A4 bunch paper when kept open (Without a plastic packaging) in monsoon season tends to gather moisture and bleeds like hell... So I think coated paper would be the best way to FP friendly paper

Please try Navneet Youva series books, i have used fountain pen with Youva unruled book and it handled fountain pen well, there was no issue of pen skipping, ink bleed, feather and paper was also white so Colors looked great. (I tried that with Platinum preppy Medium nib and Parker quink ink, platinum Stock ink cartridge and Syahi the great indian ink)

Could you make videos for Bond paper, Duo and matter paper And other higher GSM papers available !!

100 GSM is so thick. Normally I use 80 GSM TNPL paper. My handwriting is far worse than the ink bleed that no body notices it 🤣🤣🤣
