Those having problem be sure about 2 things Simulation to 4 and play on hard ( difficulty ) If you can't change your simulation distance then make your afk room 44 blocks away from the farm this is for those which playing above 6 and also be sure to use pattern that works for you i showed one for 1.20 and one for those already playing in 1.21 to prevent spiders!
I have noticed one thing that no one has commented. The farm works best after running it for five or so minutes. Personally I have yet to get tons and tons of gunpowder but it does get a lot better.
I had the same problem and someone else helped when you built up by two blocks you placed the trap door on the top of that block instead place it on the side top part it goes down half a block stopping the flow of water
i followed this guide exactly as shown, on bedrock 1.21 - most creepers are dying from fall damage. i've raised the kill chamber up 7 blocks, same thing

I did notice that it dosent realy work that well with slabs because the light during the day will keep it so creepers wont spawn but at night it is effective, so if u guys wana get more gun powder, cover the walls with stone and make sure it is DARK DARK so it will spawn creepers and dont use only slabs
Hey! I’m in the middle of building it in survival and I have a question, if I add cats in the corner can I improve the overall creeper funneling into the farm?
that doesn't fix it, also your farms are nonworking because the stuff you say doesn't even work on bedrock half the time. and when it dose they perform awfully.
Be sure to set simulation to 4 and play on hard ( difficulty ) and with one layer you won't get that much about 200 300 and yes on top of ocean most of time drowned will spawn unless you use glass blocks where water are placed
you can try to remove the afk spot and rebuild 1-2 block higher up. You probably added 1 more block when you started building the farm while you were towering uphill and now the fall damage is 1/2-1 heart more and that causes the creeper to die on impact.

I have an issue where i keep picking up the tirdent if i get to close. Im playing on pc bedrock edition. 1.21.21 i built it last might and afkd for maybe 30-40 minutes hoping it would ramp up afterr awhile and i got 3 stacks of gun powder. I only built 3 floors to test it out and make sure it works where i built it. Anyone have similar results? Is it worth just building more floors or do i have another issue?

@@sheykhnoiizy2979 I mean most of the farm works on simulation 4 so obviously I play on that and did exactly what he did...I will try to modifie that so hope that would probably work
