People saying this is like an add, it is. But it isn't just a random add, this is actually a product the braille team actually stands behind and uses. And besides that it is actually a good product, they didn't just shamelessly sell out or anything. They also made a quality video out of it with some pretty good skating, this was a much better advertisement than most other channels do, you can even drop your egg on it and it won't break, other channels adds break eggs. The proof is in the pudding
Defently. I agree. Advertizing like this is only alright in my my book if they actually use or agree witht he product, not just lie about it just for the sake of advertizing

It's pretty obviously sponsored. They were sent something for free, tried it out, praised it, even did tests to show how good it was. If you are guessing after that then idk what to tell you.
I stopped skating about 10 years ago, this channel is pretty much the only skating related stuff i ever watch but im totally hooked! Especially Fetty is awesome, do more videos with him on other spots than the Fremont skatepark! anyway awesome channel dudes
Ruuney for me it was not having enough friends i guess, from age 12 to 19 i skated alot with friends, we always went around looking for new stairs and spots to skate, great fun, but people move away or go to college etc so i was left with no real friends to go skating with, i went to some parks alone but found it kinda boring so i slowly stopped completely it took me almost 10 years to finally get some interest back! im actually thinking about maybe trying the local park again seeing how well i would manage the bowl first try ^^
+miguel davis Yup, and I'm not gonna judge them for that, but I'd have liked it if they were at least open about it. Lots of people just come right out and say it when they're doing a sponsored video, and that doesn't necessarily make the video worse, but it does give more of a sense of honesty.
There are panels you can buy/make that reduce echo is buildings like that. Love your stuff, thanks for everything you guys are contributing to the skating world.
ButtFuk you know, kids like doing stuff the opposite way of whats the norm, if ALL skatevideos would be like "please kids, wear helmets and be safe" you can surely count on that helmets will be considered lame in no time! but at this moment, since its not really enforced that much, kids who wear helmets are just normal, nobody really cares

yeah, foam would be prohibitively expensive for something this size, even if you got cheap shit not designed for sound dampening like cheap mattress pads. but really anything that's soft (more surface area the better) and on the walls will work.
i can defintly tell you guys that it does not absorb 90% of the impact energy, unless you assume that someone does not dampen the impact at all. any human would naturally dampen an impact by just using the knees and slowly break and not hit completly stiff. if you would land completly stiff the impact force will be near infinte because the only thing damping the impact would be the board, your bones and the floor. that would probably be about 10cm's. we'll assume you can't bounce at all. so if you do a 2 meter drop that would have the effect of yourself stacking 1500kg on your head. thats probably the best case for those things and in that case for them. if we are generous and say they give you 2cm's more stopping distance you got only 1325 kg left. if we take something more realistic like 50cm stopping distance the actual difference with 2cm's extra given by those soles is like 3.2%. they might help but they dont reduce the actual impact force by 90%. they probably only distribute the force more evenly on the feet.
When EDITING, make sure to bring down the levels on the sound every time you SPEED UP FOOTAGE, its too high pitch, loud and overall annoying, I like the sound of the wheels and the squeaking but it hurts a little. Dial down a notch on the SPED UP intervals.
Mika Tarkela they're literally a gift from the heavens man. They are not lying when they say it's 90% shock absorption. After you break em in it's like you're skating on a Tempur-pedic mattress. Things are clouds on your feet. Jaws used them to gap the Lyon 25 and if that's not enough to tell these things work well idk what will. I'm planning on buying some bc mine ripped because of my dog.

I'm 47 and the last time I skated, pink powell peralta decks were popular. The first time I skated it was on a 1977 California Free Former-it was all plastic, only 3 inches wide at best, with a molded kick tail..If I i had seen this video when I was 8, I would have thought it took place on another planet..Good stuff

Hoss I think it's just the actual audio sped up, if they fix the echo it won't be as bad... they could cut the audio entirely but that would be odd in its own way since there so much echo and noise when they aren't fast forwarding. they could also just cut the clip, but some people like seeing the line in one clip without a cut

Yo bros, I'm a PT student about to graduate and have some insight on those insoles. You have to find subtalar neutral when sitting down without weight through your foot by feeling on the front of your ankle around the tendons there for 2 bony processes on either side until they are evenly poking through (you could easily google how to find this). Then, heat up the insoles and form them to your foot in that position. Put them in your shoes and lace them up tight and wear them around until the insoles cool off. The heat from your feat won't shape the foam enough to form them because if it could then the formed insoles could deform with normal wear. Just want to make sure you guys get the most out of them and they work as well as possible. Keep up the awesome vids!
these videos are a heck of a lot better these days. the echo is a bit annoying but I know you guys are working on that. but overall I've been enjoying the videos a heck of a lot more!
sounds like the warehouse could use some soundproofing in you vids. like maybe egg cartons carpet etc. i still enjoy it im liking the new insoles i mean i see it doesn't distract from the skating of the boards
I cry watching these skate vedios cause mine is so razor tailed i cant do anything barely and my family cant but anything new but good work guys love your skating ben watching for a while
I can testify to the FP insoles. I have been skating with them exclusively for about 7 months, and whenever I skate with other shoes without the insoles, my feet are IMMEDIATELY sore after a session. Very noticeable difference in support and shock absorption, a buddy really wants a pair after trying on my shoes. Haha.
If you install a 12" High plywood skirt around the bottom of the room. You won't have to deal with so many holes in the drywall. Your vids are sweet. Keep up the good work. cheers.
You guys should really install some vinyl or rubber wall base around the walls. They make 6 inch height wall base molding. (Armstrong brand preferably. That's who I work for.) It would really save your walls from when the boards smacking the drywall and prevent the holes that Fetty and Nigel keep putting in the drywall. Gotta keep new spot looking fresh!
