@@originalunoriginal4055 you gotta admit its funny that he would flip it after he was told how much it meant to him. its funny because only he could get away with doing something like that because apparently the boss liked him that much.
The bearded guy who ignores Peele and yet is so emotionally engaged with Key's character (probably some sycophant) is my favourite part of this. It's so funny how he jumps in.
those kind of guys are called social climbers. Ignoring or distancing themselves from those who they deem to be unimportant, and desperately wanting to be included in a higher social circle
I get the feeling that many of Key and Peele’s sketches are born out of real social anxiety! They can create comedic tension better than almost anyone. If I ever meet them in person I feel almost obligated to make sure that it is as socially awkward as possible… out of respect 😎👍🏼
In my humble opinion if one could describe comedy skits as being perfect this certainly would be a strong contender. From the editing, wardrobe, writing, and every person on this set are masters of their craft. Peeple & Key’s acting is beyond reproach, they are truly talented actors.
3:47 gets me everytime. Peele has like a split second where he embraces himself and then puts on the mask and starting the engine. It also reminds me a lot of Adam Devine
clothes are classic 1978 -1980.....look it up high unemployment ...just getting an interview was a big deal, you could not buy a job.....these guys in the waiting room knew they were sunk.....this brought back bad memories
What an absolute mindfucky powermove from a boss to do this in front of potential candidates. Just weed out the guys who lose all confidence or become weird and awkward like peele's character.
Peele legit did everything he possibly could have done right during the interview. Handling the impatient clapping objection by mirroring it into a positive, mimicking the guy the hiring manager seems to like for whatever reason, and attentive to every detail all the way to the chinese food.. What's frustrating is this is how the world actually operates.. illogical AF
The problem is exactly that he was mirroring that guy. It became clear to key that it was just a gimmick. Cuz he clearly liked the energy of the first guy cuz it was authentic. And peele was just trying to be the same and he missed
@@lyreco7910 What I don't understand is why certain people don't just take the "I need to improve" line of thinking. Do all autistic people take the victim approach to all of their misgivings? It always just seems to be a "blame society" circle jerk.
I know I'm late.. but the skits these guys do are SO FRIGGIN HILARIOUS! Not to mention how they can change their looks along with the type personality!
After he handed him the gift, I would have left and start applying for other jobs. It was over. It's the equivalent of a manager telling you "we have more people to interview, we'll make a decision & give you a call"
new? if by new you mean 10 year old skit but reuploaded then yes. I've literally seen every video posted like 20 times (on their various official channels) for the last 10 years lol
When I first saw Javier Millei on TV I knew he reminded me of someone! Now re-watching this sketch after years I saw the interviewee and finally remembered 😆
