I'm putting together the best of the best - I'm visiting the best Jamaican Restaurant in the USA and one of the best restaurants in the USA overall called Yardie Spice in Homestead, Florida. Its about one hour south of Miami and is truly world famous for its Fine Dining take on Jamaican cuisine.
I'm also going to try some of the best Jamaican Patties in the world at the famous Juici Patties in Miami, more specifically in Hollywood, USA! After trying the best patties in Jamaica I knew that I had to come and try their first USA location here in Florida. And best of all I'm joined by my friend. I'm also exploring the people and the culture, and learning what makes Jamaican food so special. This is a Caribbean food and culture tour that you don't want to miss.

honestly the last place truly impressed me, the food looked incredible and I can't remember the last time I've seen a fine dining caribbean restaurant. i thought that the way he described the cooking process and flavors definitely made sense that he is Haitian. I'll definitely be taking a visit down to Yardie Spice asap...juici's patties on the other hand I am literally in my car driving there right now lol. been a long time since I had one! the mother's beef though is still legendary...so glad to see a Jamaican owned and jamaican originated restaurant here in the USA. SO PUMPED FOR THAT CRUST!

David. How r u? You are killing me with these Pattie’s. Quite filling with the coco bread and a nice affordable price. Omg. This 2nd restaurant with Jamaican and Haitian cuisine must be off the chain 😋😋😋😋. That juice with turmeric and ginger sounds amazing. Oooo conch. The jerk chicken is tenderly cutting off the bone 🙌🏼. Sweet chili 🌶️ salmon. Enjoying this vid David. I too wonder where does this food go? Know you work out 🏋️‍♀️ but wow. Omg. 🥥 rum cake too? Lawd have mercy. This place, Juicy, is 4 miles from my home. Looks like worth a visit. The best one I've had so far are the closest--Golden Krust. The thing is, if you like patties, there are NO bad ones. They go from being "okay" to "superb." Haitian food is completely different from Jamaican, although they cook with most of the same ingredients. Duh--being Caribbean islands next door to each other. Believe me, despite the part of Dade County live in, there is ALWAYS a Caribbean store, loncheria, food window or restaurant within 2 miles of wherever you're standing. Who makes the "best" is highly debatable.

Just came back from vacation in Jamaica and they had curry goat patty and lobster patty while there. They were really good! Perhaps they should start making some at that location.

Wish them all the best. Tried the patties from two different locations (Hollywood and Lauderhill) and the crust is excellent. Golden flaky. Juici Beef needs to improve their quality control on the beef filling. Found chunks of fat and Gristle in the meat. Had to pick it out. Has anyone else had this experience? The flavour is on target though, and that was my only disappointment. Still buy the patties, but they do need to fix this issue.

Is it me or did he keep saying "JUCI's) pattie"? Thought it is Juci (juicy)Also, I know someone probably said it but NOT coco BUN but Coco BREAD. Even the caption on screen said coco BUN, really? NOT planTANE! it's plantain sounds like mountain, fountain. No one would say mounTANE nor FounTANE. The food did look delicious. Thanks for the informative video. Maybe one day I can get to that part of Florida.
