American Eagle! Zara is tough on girls with even the slightest curves. American Eagle is a great price, they offered cropped for short people like me and they have a curve section. I am an 8 generally and they have different options on height and sizes. They also are stretchy!!
Same. I like high wasted jeans but they don't look good on my body type. I mean they don't look horrible but I definitely look better in low rise jeans :/
It's so nice to see women breaking the stereotype that we can't get along/are toxic to each other. I've seen nothing but empowerment and love on this channel. Thank you for being real and being such a great role model Adrienne!
I understand why a mid-rise was chosen. It is to accentuate her bottom and top instead of the middle. It is more important to feel comfortable and attractive than to be on-trend. I think a curvy high waist jean would work for her and still accentuate her positive if she likes that better.
I think it does just her shirt! She needs a tight shirt like Adrienne or even a short shirt so it doesn’t bulk up around her mid section hence why I feel like she was pulling at the waist to flatten that area. That’s what I thought when she first came out and then when she talked about her problem area being her mid section you could tell she was uncomfortable about that area. I’ve done some styling courses too and generally that’s what they say. OR even a BODYSUIT too rather than a shirt would have made it more comfortable and flattering in my opinion. But she still looks amazing in a mid rise Jean :)
@@dancepassion4life I'm a similar body shape... only plus size.... honestly I love myself in super high waisted stiff mom jeans. It flattens my fupa, and highlights where I'm the smallest and I wear a tighter fitting top
In my society people judge me for my body, nature, voice , studies and say do more exercise you are so chubby but they don't know I do everything diet, exercise and sleep but still like that so what i can do they decreased my confidence and now I'm so shy that I don't go out of home
I’m a curvy girl who has ALWAYS had that stupid gap in the back! I’m telling you right now... LEVI is the way! My fave is Levi 721. Never leaves a gap in the back I promise
And I’m petite as well. 5’2 with a long torso. Wearing high waist makes my legs look longer and the skinny fit and different length option eliminates the need for tailoring
@@oliviaclarke6683 OMG meee too, I even keep a pic in my phone of the waist style. I cherish my Levi 721 high rise skinny. The only jeans that doesnt have a stupid gap in the back
I'm looking forward to getting mine very soon! Since, I won't have to buy school lunch, while teaching, I can get my future fav jeans. I saw them on a RU-vid video. And they sell them at Target online.
I appreciate Adrienne trynna show Lana she can wear more than just high waist but you could tell Lana was uncomfortable in those mid-rise jeans and was trying to pull them up past her belly.
I'm apple-shaped as well and as long as a pair of jeans go over my belly I will wear skinny, straight, bell, whatever kind of jeans I will wear them....and yes Lana did look kinda uncomfortable in those jeans lol
I think it’s her shirt too! Adrienne, girl, American Eagle Outfitters does sizes x-short to x-long and they have a new jean line called curvy. For us petite curvy girls. I highly recommend. Those jeans are perfect for women with small waist and big hips! No need to tailor.
This is exactly like the swimsuit video. I love how you are empowering different body types without trying to change their shape but instead finding what flatters them.
I love how she always hypes up her friends and picks what she thinks is their best features! She always lets people know not every trend is going to work for your body type, so stick to what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful!
You get a year?!!! I get like 3 months and that is my max not even joking :/ but I can only afford like 2 pairs at a time so they get worn almost daily.
@@amberhess6717 I usually have 3 pairs at once and I go jean shopping once a year roughly. But I also only wear jeans to go to work and I have an office job so not much walking :)
Wow. My jeans last like 5- 10 years. Like the only issue I have is they get ripped/worn on the bottom from dragging on the ground, I'm 5'2 ,so most jeans are a few inches too long, and I dont have the money to be tailoring them. But I have kinda learned to get slim fit Capri jeans now, and that has kinda eliminated the bottom losseness/dragging.
“i’m gonna be honest, we all want what we don’t have, and you have my ideal body” “YOU have my ideal body” yes this is what it is to have supportive female friends ♥️
Im so glad that she actually showed us different bodytypes ugh I lovedd it

I'm like wow so beautiful so well spoken so magnificent and above all your Spirit is phenomenal you wear everything so well. Keep up the wonderful work.
Nice video! But how is Taysha “petite” or “hourglass”? Like she is more like a triangle shape. Adrienne is the petite and hourglass like one in this video.
Κατερίνα Αρκουμανέα hmm no i see it on her instagram as well, she isnt petite at all and also a itsibitsi smaller waist dan hips doenst mean you have a hourglass shape now. Cuz here upperbody as you can see is way bigger then her hips and butt if you know what im saying.
Thats what i was saying. She is not hourglass. She is wider on top so more close to either an inverted triangle or a straight shape. Hourglass is a very defined shape. No matter if you have a loose shirt on people will still be able to tell you are hour glass. Sophia vergara, kim k, adrienne, are all hourglass.
This is a fantastic video. As a plus-size curvy woman, my go-to jeans are high waist, stretchy in a dark wash. I NEVER get the right length, because I am not tall. Thanks for the tips. You all look beautiful!💛
Y’all forget the number one jeans that fits everyone body. American Eagle. Rather you’re tall , short , skinny , thick or plus size the jeans comes with a lot of Stretch . Omg they have the best jeans. They make my but so beautiful 💕 And worth the prices. I did a review on them on my channel go check it out ❤️
Gap has their own “petite curvy” style that I absolutely love and fit me perfectly. Like no other jean! Gap will always be my number one for price and comfort
Since Lana kept pulling and adjusting on her jeans, I’m going to say the mid rise is not for her. She looks uncomfortable! High rise with some stretch!
@Emily Evans I agree! I can't believe mid-rise jeans are back on-trend. It's so sad. I'm a tall, size 14, with a long torso kind of gal, and mid-size jeans give me a freaking muffin top look. Hard pass for me!!!
Yup. They looked mega odd. Funny how later they're talking hacks for short girls when I thought tall girls had the most issues finding bottoms long enough. Ppl with short legs can just fold over the hem. When it's ankle-swinging, looks like you stole someone else's pants.
I'm blown away by this whole jeggings with buttons, zippers, and pockets thing! I guess it's been a while since I bothered checking them out, because I still picture them as the old version that you described, leggings that just kinda look like denim.
I’m petite and curvy and literally I’ve always HATED wearing jeans. I typically go for high waist skinny jeans but lately I’ve been totally obsessed with flare jeans. This video actually helped though because I LITERALLY always feel self conscious wearing jeans so it’s nice to know it’s a GOOD issue for the thighs to be an issue while your waist is really tiny lol. Anyway this was actually super helpful for me. Learned a lot of tips!!
Love this Adrienne! Always coming through with body positivity and embracing your own body. We may have a few things we would want to change, and its normal but to gain confidence and work with what the Lord gave you (and He makes no mistakes) is key! Thank you for this video and for all your girls who embraced themselves..it was so helpful!
@@evelinerobin8191 Malta. If you're coming as a foreigner, it won't be a problem for you. Financial issues are for citizens. People are actually refusing to rent their apartments to citizens but instead are having them available for foreigners. Nothing against foreigners, but some people are greedy for money and they know that foreigners would be more willing to pay more for rent (because of higher salaries)
@@AllThingsAdrienne romwe.com have an extremely similar (if not the same design). I came back here after watching the video yesterday to ask this question specifically because they are the cutest. Check this link out m.romwe.com/us/Ruffle-Hem-Belted-Satin-Robe-p-504834-cat-1277.html
TAY is Soo Pretty!!! Her smile is infectious. 😁💜 My go to Jeans is high waist. I have a lil sum’n in the back and high waist jeans also compliment my hips, thighs, and legs. 💙
Love this! I'm very petite (4'11) and jeans are such a struggle. Even when I buy short instead of regular they're still very long and I fold them over. I have very thin legs as well so sometimes they're not as form fitting as I would like them to be on the bottom. I never thought a flare/ bell bottom would look so good! I have always worn skinny but seeing this I definetly will try on jeans that are more open at the bottom.
Thanks for the tips Adrienne! I have never taken my jeans to be tailored, cause there are "just jeans". But, I see that it really makes a difference. I am short and curvy, so I would wear high rise with the extra waist loose in the back or the low which made my hips look even wider. Cannot wait to get me some high waist bellbottom jeans. Oh and those clear shoes are bringing everything nicely together.
High rise dark wash jeggings are what I need in my life. My goto is mid rise boot cut but love modern jeggings. 100% agree about tayloring! So important for well fitting clothing
1. Levi's does have a stretch line, which is there 300 series. I buy them all the time. I also love a good bell bottom jean. When you're curvy, the bottom helps balance the top and also makes your waist small.
Just subscribed to the channel and love it! All your videos feel so natural and uplifting. The way you and your friends communicate with each other and the way everyone is always smiling shows how positive and motivating you are with each other and the true level of respect is palpable. Adrienne has a humble spirit and it definitely shows! Keep empowering women, I’m here for it!!!
I’m really cautious when it comes to ordering jeans and heels online. When I try on jeans the back always sticks out and show my underwear even though it’s true to size sometimes a belt doesn’t work, the crotch area looks weird and pokes out when sitting or bending over. I gave away half of my jeans and was wearing joggers . I have wide feet so it’s always a struggle when it comes to heels sneakers that I like
I like the intro with the undergarments and showing their body types. I was able to fast forward to the model closer to my body type to figure out what jeans I should wear. Great video.
I hate to go jean shopping because I will see an pair that I really like only to find that I can’t wear them. And I get all mad and depressed because my butt is so big. So Adrienne thank you for uploading this video because I really needed to watch it. Love you mami ❤️
Love this video. The info was on point and the humor, made me tinkle😂. I’m petite-curvy, like you and was always afraid of high waited jeans. I’ll give them a try, now. Thanks for the tip.
I have the same body shape as Grace but I really wish I have a more curvy body shape. However, I'm learning to embrace my body. Thanks for this video Adrienne 🧡
I am 5.9 and have shape like Lana lately. I am in my 40's. When i am thinner i have body like Rocky, rhe first girl. It is so hard to find clothes in Italy. People here are small just like Adrienne
Brilliant and very educational! I really enjoyed this video and I’m excited to see your next one. Any suggestions for a 6 foot tall curvy hourglass with knocked knees?
hey darling, I use belts at my waist, im curvy and my hem needs to be tailor shortened, but I skip this step by using belts :) works in a pinch! Love your videos
mysweetpepper THANK YOU! When they started talking about the prices and tailoring I was thinking “why not just wear a belt?” That’s what I do with my jeans. Instead of “investing” in getting a good pair of jeans tailored, why not invest in a good belt that can be worn with more than one pair of jeans? Plus, belts can work with other types of slacks. This is allows me to buy more than one pair of jeans at a time.
Had hit the like button at 11:00 mins when she said about the body confidence. I like the fact that the girls do not try to hide their shapes but find something they are comfortable in. Super proud of them!
American Eagle & they have a short style that I believe is like “extra short” or something. They’re the only brand of jeans I wear! I’m 5’1 & they’re ankle length. My sister is 4’11 & she wears them too! They don’t look like kid legs at all & give your booty a little extra POp!
I'm shaped like Grace. I'm slim and I was denied my black woman's birthright of a full booty. I prefer mid rise jeans also. Low rise jeans makes a mockery of my no ass 🙅 And I agree with what Grace said about high rise jeans. They are no bueno. High rise jeans seem to just create the flat ass, continuous back look🙅
Ok. First of all Everyone looked A-mazing in their jeans! I have the hardest time finding jeans so I tend to just go with Mid-rise bootcut or flare jean but NEVER bellbottom. I'm 5'3" so I guess most would consider me petite, but I have never actually wore petite clothes or jeans. Adrienne, I loved the color of your jeans and you looked fantastic in them, but bellbottoms are not for you. They're way too long at the bottom! I have tried to make up the difference in height too by wearing high heels, but the jeans alway end up dragging the ground and eventually it tears them up. Maybe you should consider bootcut or flare which I think will give you the same look but with way less fabric at the bottom. Just a suggestion. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Can we all give her a handclap for how inclusive she is on her video's she truly is kind and I love the fact that GOD has blessed her to be in the position of influence that she is. GOD bless all of you.
