Thanks for this video, I took your advice and bought a belt from Jag (May 2024). He canceled my order (and gave a refund), but it looks like he shut down his shop over the last few days (which is a bummer, his work looked awesome, I hope it is temporary).
Great review, those look great. Were all 3 of these belts 24k plated and do you recommend 24k plated? What would be the cons of not getting 24k plated? Thanks!
When someone says they are using 24k, it usually means they are using new gold solution and not old solution. I have never seen 14kt gold solution for Plating. I doubt this was made with new solution but the plating looks fine even today. Thanks for watching!
@@Serg_More So to be clear, you are guessing that your belts did not have the new solution plating? I do not have social media, is there another way I can contact you with my questions?
@MichaelJLam-uw3jy I don't know for sure but most of the time, belts at this price aren't plated with new solution. I don't have any other way except fb messenger brother. I don't want to list my email or phone here.
Unfortunately, Jagu is not an honorable man. I will have some details coming up this weekend but I would recommend you look elsewhere for ur belts as he doesn't backup his work. Stay Tuned.
I wished I would have researched more and come across your page on Belts I got scammed bad on Amazon for a NWA US Tag team Title Belt Jagu Jaan looks like a very reputable dealer, only prob is with eBay I hate using PayPal + no credit card (bad credit) If he makes a WCW Tag team Title Belt give me a heads up been looking for one! or two!
Lol. Damn I brought 2 of the US tag belts from Amazon. You are right. I was very disappointed. The plates are so thin. They look like belts for a kid. I ordered the nwa tag belts from this guy. Should be here by Monday.
The problem with some Pakistanis is they don't pay attention. I have one that you send him pics of an original belt and he'll at least try to get it exact. Jagu Jaan, you sent him pics of how you want a belt to look and he'll respond with "I'll make it according to my pictures ". Problem is some of his tooling is not 100%. He's got a UWF Heavyweight belt and it's dual plated. Problem there is the original was all Gold. A guy ordered one from Dave Millican and wanted it dual plated. Now so many dual plated ones are being made, which is wrong. And you explain to this guy and he doesn't understand.
I hear u brother. If that is important to u then I'm sure there are makers who will make sure it's as accurate as u want. To me, these certain belts are the last few I am finishing off my collection with and didn't want to spend alot on them. So accurate art wasn't my main concern. Workmanship, price, timetable were what I was seeking. I have plenty of classic shields and American made belts that are my favorite and that are accurate. These, I will give a pass. But love ur knowledge brother. Ur always welcome to comment and point out inaccuracies. Its info my subscribers love to read. Thanks!
