​@KysRoa-en9bn She clearly wasn't ready, but that's almost beside the point because she never put Jace up for adoption, instead keeping him, immediately partying and hanging out with friends all the time. She wasn't going to school or working, and even by the start of TM2, Jace was in daycare while she slept off hangovers. She forced Barbara to be the mother to Jace and take legal action, all while complaining that Barb wouldn't let her do anything. She throws herself pitty parties because her mother caught her stealing her credit card and charging hundreds. I could go on, but my point is this. Jenelle was young, yes. She was also supremely selfish and narcissistic and negligent. Being young doesn't make it okay. She thought that being the biological mother meant that she could do whatever she wanted without consequence. She could be lazy, and steal, and do drugs and chase men who were also unemployed and doing drugs, and Barb couldn't do anything because she gave birth. Jenelle wanted the title of mom with none of the work. She's the girl who gives fake scenarios to the local gas station cashier at 11 at night because she knows he doesn't know the truth, but we all know.

Bc it was her way or the highway. Her mom at this point was getting attached to Jace and wanting to stay in that role as his mother and not let Jenelle slowly step back into it. It's weird watching it back and seeing EXACTLY where it started.

@@brianaelaine151Janelle needed structure. She needed to realize that having Jace was a privilege, not a right. A privilege that she could earn back as a right. Her mom at that point wanted to see her daughter step up and put him first, and if she wasn’t willing to do it, then she wasn’t giving an inch. I don’t blame her.

I'm sure jenelles mom knows here very well! she's shouldve been up & ready to watch Jace but she's so irresponsible
