I miss Nepal. I so enjoyed my visits there. It is a hard life, but only to those of us not used to it. The Nepali people are some of the happiest and most content I have ever met. I think happiness comes from being humble.

Watching from Greenland. In Greenland our material standards are very much western European-like. I watch people here with joy in there hearts and they seems to have good life overall. I also watch people from Skid Row LA; homeless and hopeless people. A very sad situation. So modern civilisation and materialism is not always the answer. I enjoy the video very much. Thank you.😊

You could also build a hut and live in Siberia like in antiquity. Raise chickens, sheeps, butcher them, make your own clothes from their skins. Keep a diary on tree bark about survival.^^

I spent a month there in midwinter. Walking on Hilary's path to Everest. We didn't get snow. It was dry and dusty and sunny but very cold. We had one snow shower at the lowest altitude. In winter the clouds stay low and drop their snow in the lower foothills. The days were sunny and you could look down at the fog bank below you. Just as you do from a plane.

The best attributes of Nepalese people is their everlasting smile. The first guy in this video walking upward with a umbrella delivered that authentic gesture of a smile. This is very common in Nepal hill people. On the contrary we receive hostile looks and gestures in other countries than Nepal. Thats the fcuking difference.

I lived with tribes in the remote areas to one of the expensive city like Manhattan, NY. But when I compare both, I feel very peaceful, happiness and friendly life there in the remote though there is hardship and scarcity for survival.
