It’s not just NYC, I wouldn’t walk around most places in America at night wearing a Rolex especially a gold Rolex. Biden and Harris imported every criminal around the world in their immigration debacle.
I've never had a Rolex but it looks nice. I'm currently wearing a smaller Citizen eco drive with the analog dial that is SO precise it blows my mind. No automatic,windup or battery, just indoor and outdoor light . It also has a great lume for nigh-time on all the numbers. And it has an easy to read day and date.
People belittle folks that like watches and say it’s a waste of money since only tells time. Have a neighbor like that but at end of day he buys a truck for 130K! Which to me is nuts since it has four wheels and gets you from a to b, but I realize to each his own. Maybe you like cars/trucks or how about fancy vacations or boats. Enjoy what you like…it’s your money at end of the day and we only live once.
Just let them be. They don't get it. It's not just function but part of style. By their logic they should just be wearing t-shirts because it serves the same function as dress shirts.
When I saw that Rolex watch, it struck a chord deep within me. Even the strap seemed like it could save my life. I graduated from one of the world's top universities, and for the past 7 years, I've been tirelessly working in the field. I've only been able to see my family for a total of 2 years. They say geography shapes destiny, and while I used to brush it off, the price of every moment of my life, even if it were $10,000, would have been worth resetting. But this watch, its value seems unfathomable to me.

For real! It took me forever to get one. I finally gave in and got a certified pre-owned from Tourneu. It looks brand new. They have their watches serviced and polished by Rolex. You can be on a waiting list for a year or more to get a new one. Plus, by the time you get the new one that you want the price may change.
Stop it. You're only saying that because you can't just walk into a boutique and get the one you want on the spot. I guarantee you, if one of the ones you want was available, you would snatch it up.
@@cjack202003 I said it doesn't excite me anymore. It's not that Rolex is popular. It is that Rolex is hyper-popular. So yes in a way your right. If it was available I would. However, a whole community is out there sitting on Rolexes, eager to sell Rolexes at highly inflated prices. In my youth, I was in awe of Rolex now not as much, now other luxury options give me more awe. Vacheron Constantine, Piaget, and Grand Saiko with their consent force tourbillon. The list could go on.
Gold, no thank you. Gold always reminds me of the color of my residential plumbing fixtures in 1989. Black looks great though. Go buy a coach purse, you can’t get close to 60% of what you paid years later.. I bought a Daytona one for $28k Sold if for $72k a few years later bc the shortage of supply was evident. You get to wear something that feels perfected on your wrist, while being able to know it holds distinctive value new, incredible value as vintage. That is why you buy one… no other reason.
It’s just a timepiece. Time is the same on a cheep watch and an expensive one time is precious not the watch. You can bye a watch but you can never bye time.
I always though the jubilee bracelet on gold looks awesome and on stainless and platinum it looks great when its an oyster bracelet. Awesome 😎 watch, wear it in good health as watch collectors always say.👍
