How does the color of the water effect the choice of lure color - do bright lures, like you'd expect, REALLY work better then dark lures?!
In this episode, Mille and Pontus goes spring pike fishing in Lake Mälaren in Sweden trying to catch some nice pre-spawn pike in the super muddy water.

Very nice Video. I fish in a Bodden near Rügen in Germany, the water is also very muddy and the best color there is salt&pepper. I didnt thougt that dark lures work in this kind of water.

It's not about "bright" on white light, it' about brightness under the water where the light is colored. So lure color is important, not the "brightness". And which color is the most bright under the yellow light? It is yellow or gold.

That was some very muddy water. The hog pike color works well in any water condition. Great result for tough conditions.

For sure a hooligan roach - crystal bream, pig shad jr. - laban and a buster jerk shallow - hot pike! Killers for shallow/deeper water. The new sinkers are very effective for rubbers. You can fish these rubber lures shallow, but also (very) deep with the sinkers. Anyway, keep the good work guys! :)

Vibrating baits work better in muddy water. They sense the vibration first and then follow up to it and then the fish hits!

Cool stuff again even with the low amount of fish being caught :) I would really love to try the Flatnose Shad Transparent Perch as well as the Flatnose Shad Yellow Dawn Clear as they look like freakin hot stuff to me. Last but not least I choose the McRubber Jr Search and Destroy. As I was only fishing with kind of really small lures for pike so far, these fellows might bring me a bigger pike than my actual PB of only 82 cm :) Keep catching the big ones guys :) tight lines

Great video again and 2 really nice pike you have caugth! Can you do a BEST LURE COLOR with BLACK or White, i have the idea that black is better allround than white. But white lures can i follow better in the shallow water.
