Hi friends! In this video, we give you a tour of our Ha Long Bay luxury cruise ship and take you along for our first day exploring the bay. We went with Genesis Regal Cruises on a 3 day, 2 night cruise, which cost $380 USD per person (includes cruise, Senior Suite room with king bed, all meals, activities, round trip transfer from Hanoi, and taxes). Stay tuned next for Day 2 exploring Ha Long Bay, Vietnam!
I’m curious about the sanitation…. Where do those people go to the bathroom, if they did everything on the water….. in the bay..⁉️⁉️ Sounds very disgusting…. That water, the food etc, must be contaminated with human faeces…⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
@@kaypee4704 valid point because from what I understand these boats are rarely docked, they wait in the bay for guest rotation. So not sure when they would be able to offload the waste to shore.
The toilet, bathroom on the cruise has their own place to store all the waste to be offload to the shore. It's a must for every cruises including the ones in Ha Long Bay.
I have never seen this kind of cruise boat before. I made 2 Halong Bay cruise in a row in 2013 and 2014. Great improvment !! thank you for for vlog. Paris, France.
I went with Doris Cruise for 3 days 2 nights.A lot of those companies work together.Very easy to say that those 2 nights were awesome.I would do it again in a heartbeat.
What a fabric cruise!! Looks so beautiful!!! Ohhh wow the families who live off the water crazy there were over 300 and now there are 7 really interesting!! The kayaking looked so nice!!! Haha great toe nails Ashley!! 🤪 great video guys!! :)
@@KeepGoingPlaces I am quite interested may be looking into it down the stretch when the world is back to normalcy. Need help in organizing the event thanks
Cruising on a large junk ship in Halong Bay is a surreal experience, surrounded by all those countless karst formations esp when there are mists. Having dinner and sleeping on board is wonderful ................ Nice video.

That cruise ship is beautiful...but the views, even more so! I'm with Jordan, I'd want to touch the islets...but really, I'd want to climb on an islet and declare it as my own. LOL!
Put your suitcases in a locker rent a motorbike head down the coast, see the real people and the real struggles! It will be the best thing you could every do!
Hi Ashley & Jordan, we love your videos, as they are helping us to plan for our trip to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam & Cambodia early next year🤞🏻. The quality of your videos is excellent and I am interested to know what camera you use? Thank you!
Hi Nigel! Thanks so much for watching, we are so happy to hear you find them helpful. We filmed on a Nikon D3300 because that was the camera we had at the time. We have recently upgraded to a Sony a7siii.
I am jealous as my family decided to cancel our trip to Vietnam March of 2019 right at the time of Covid-19 explosion. Enjoy watching your videos. Hope you have a fantastic time in Vietnam!
A general question...since you'll were earlier in the city... do you carry all the baggage onto the cruise or only the required...and store the rest somewhere?
@@KeepGoingPlaces oh really ,more then welcome always.its my pleasure, you do not worry about anything during visit to Pakistan .i am here for you always.
@@KeepGoingPlaces all the nice places and historical places i will let you reach there, and most important thing you do not need any hotel ,e.t.c .my house doors always open for you ,
I have been reluctant to go to Vietnam because I am not an adventurous eater. In watching your videos, it appears you are not having trouble finding vegetarian options. Am I right? Great video!!!
It was definitely a topic of conversation! At that time I remember hearing about a couple of big cruise ships that had outbreaks. It was definitely on our mind but we didn’t understand how serious it would become. There were hardly any cases in Vietnam at the time.
This cruise was really special - can't beat a brand new cruise ship! Ha Long Bay was stunning and we had a ton of fun exploring and indulging. Stay tuned next for Day 2!
We went on the 3 day, 2 night cruise and got the Senior Suite with King bed. The all in cost per person was $380 USD, which included everything (room, meals, activities, round trip transfer from Hanoi, and taxes).
@@msvaj i would say about 3-4 days is a minimum. Nha trang got everything for holidays!! Such as dinning out, pub & bar, swimming at the beach, surfing, snorking & diving, going to the theme park $ water park, mineral mud bath, ect. I normally go there a minimum for a week for my holiday! Also you can go to the Binh Ba island where they have lobster farm!!! You can have very cheap lobster prices that you can not find it in the whole world!!! I would recommend It for you!!! By the way where are you from?
Better video editing and more energy would make your videos so much better. There is way too much filming of stuff that is boring. Take note of how Kara and Nate edit their videos.
Hi Mari, I appreciate your intent here but we really prefer to make our videos in our own style. They don’t have to appeal to everyone but we don’t want to simply make videos and act just like someone else. We love K&N and consider them friends, but their video style is their own. We are always learning and improving and we appreciate you watching. Thanks!
Hi Darlene, we shared this info in our pinned comment, which you should see first when looking at the comments. We’ll start including that in the videos.
