Guys I feel like I looked so rough by the end of this video. My lip gloss got on my nose 😆 I was so tired! Thanks so much for being so nice and lovely like always! ❤
Maybe you could revisit this comparison when you're not so tired and you've learned the technology of the Zuvi... other reviewers explain it and when you compare its apples to oranges as one is traditional heat via a motor where the Zuvi is light heat as in light bulb. Hope you can add this interest me but I need a curly girl to really review it knowing the difference in tech before I jump in. Thanks again, always good to see you!
Great video been waiting for someone with curly hair to review the zuvi. I agree with you when it comes to the settings I love having the option for airflow speed and to me cool shot button is a must. Hopefully they will put up an updated version real soon, because I would love to buy this since it is cheaper than the dyson.
Came to watch the comparison - got entirely distracted by your utterly gorgeous hair! My goodness - stunning! Now am off sulking with my scrappy bits of mouse hair!! Much love. Thanks for the review - might try the Zuvi first.
Hi, the Dyson took longer because it wasn't as hot. I started on very wet hair and it probably took around 30 mins. I think the Dyson gave me more defined curls, so they would've lasted a lil bit longer. Sorry I didn't check how long the curls lasted for x
Hi Lana! This is a great video comparison of 2 fairly new top tier blow dryers. Both sides look great but I find that your hair comes out beautiful with many other blow dryers as well. I would love to know your detailed personal review of both products after reviewing it in different ways, i.e. for a blow out, to stretch your hair, to sleek and straighten. I’m curious to see your thoughts on the attachments also.
This is such a weird comparison because the Zuvi Halo is less hot then the Dyson, even at its maximum setting. It doesn't get hotter than 43C and the Dyson can't go lower then 60C. That is a substantial difference, so the light technology must really help dry hair as explained. I know the manual recommends fast mode but you could probably put it into the Soft mode if you want to increase the diffusing time.
Have you tried the SRI. Dryer Q? Like it better than my Dyson. It has infrared light and heat, multiple settings and magnetic attachments like the Dyson. It is also the lightest weight dryer on the market. It also folds very easily for travel
I think what you forgot to me tonight, or test, is that the Zuvi is supposed to be better for your hair Long term. The technology is "supposed" to only dry the outside of your hair and leave the inside of the shaft with its moisture. Not sure of that's true but it's a point to bring up if you're doing a comparison 😉
I believe infrared light is just the opposite. I think it dries the inside first so there is less damage on the outside. Infrared light is also good for the scalp and helps with hair growth.
This is the best review I have seen on these dryers, because you compared 2 top rated hair dryers on curly hair. My question to you would be, which one did you prefer in regards to the way your hair came out? If both of these dryers were in front of you... Which one would you reach for if you were doing a curly style? And which one would you reach for if you were doing a straight style? I actually bought a hooded hair dryer to sit under as I got so tired of holding my arm up and drying my thick curly hair. So whilst it is drying I will read or listen to something with my earbuds. However I have been very intrigued by the Zuvi hair dryer but seeing your video and the way your curls came out I'm starting to think the Dyson is the better choice. 🙂 And I call it a hair dryer.
please don't comment on anyone's weight. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but just keep in mind that its unnecessary and unwanted unless she speaks on it herself.
Thank you for making this video; I have been watching a couple of videos on this product as I was excited about it, but I'm getting more disappointed and here is why. Zuvi's marketing team promote it as we have never seen a similar dryer like this before, even though Dyson has been around for years. For such a price, they should have made a more detailed claim. Obviously, they are not going to make one to one direct comparison with the Dyson, but they should have made the difference very clear or at least what new features this one brings and worth the price tag. Yet, it seems as if they recycled the Dyson, added light, and a new device that cost the same!! Most of these technologies have been found and implanted in the Dyson years before, which means it has more credibility since more people have used it and shared its review for a while now. A customer like myself who has tried Dyson before will find it hard to see the difference? Like, what are they offering? Why it's extraordinary? Are they pioneering any specific technology? As some people may talk about the light feature "therapy benefits," I feel if people genuinely want these benefits, they may buy a red light therapy that can be used on all body parts rather than a new dryer. Thank you for this review once again.
Personally, I think Zuvi have made their USP very clear: - It dries hair at a rate comparable to other premium hair dryers but with a lot less heat involved. That's why the dryer has the unique light at the front as it's drying hair through a combination of light, motor speed and heat (the Dyson only uses the latter two). Zuvi claim less heat means less damage for hair, and it's a fair claim to make. - The Zuvi operates at 680W, in comparison 1600W for Dyson (while some other premium hair dryers are even higher). Less energy usage is good for the environment. I don't think anyone can dispute that claim. In terms of how the product looks, you are correct that Zuvi haven't done a lot to differentiate themselves from Dyson. But let's face it, why would a premium competitor go out of it's way to look different from Dyson? They nailed the ergonomics! But, in my opinion, Zuvi have differentiated themselves very clearly in the application of new light technology and general sustainability.
Ah I mean with your hair slick back into a bun with the waves in the hair. What products do u use n what brushes n technique to make ur hair look sleek n nice?
I'm sorry but this comparison is not fair at all. First Zuvi is less hot then Dyson , second Zuvi is a hair dryer that promises to dry your hair outside living inside moisturizer, in other words , a medium term it's less damage and way more health hair...
