There is nothing nice about it because this list and the basis on which the list was made is not described. RR Cullinan missing. First thing that comes to mind when we say Luxury+SUV it is RR Cullinan.
I had a go on the X5, the Q7 and the Range Rover, when deciding which one to go for and All three were excellent. The BMW for the sportier drive, the Range Rover for luxury and the best all rounder for me was the Q7. With the air suspension it was every bit as comfortable and refined as the Range Rover but had better performance. So the Q7 was for me.
@@user-yk9lu2sr2r nah.. You can see Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Volvo driving down the road just like normal cars. The starting models are not that expensive. The bigger models though are really expensive due to higher tax import by the government
@@user-yk9lu2sr2r wow...by just a statement you came with the conclusion that I'm poor. Does your brain even work?? I'm just saying the higher models are expensive due to government import tax that's all. And I'm just studying in college so I don't earn😂 be Happy with your G class(if you even have one)
@@user-yk9lu2sr2r I'm not searching for a car you birdbrain. I was just saying that I *wish* to own one of those cars that's it. Lol you cannot see further beyond your ego. And how can you earn while studying in college please tell me? It's not the US that you can do part time jobs. You can't even understand simple statements and yet you say you have graduated from IIT smh. Whatever you say it's hard to believe now because of your silliness
Man, that Bentley Bentayga is really ugly! Especially compared to the other 9, even the G Wagen! Glad to see the XC90 got a mention but have to agree it really needs a V6 engine. Great video - thanks, Matt!
The term SUV really should be refined. The two Land Rovers are the only vehicles in this top ten that will actually work off road and on road. All the others are primarily set up for on road. How many farmers of large estates have X5’s or even Volvo’s???
I love the new x5 design, I don’t mind the huge grill, and its back slab-like design makes it look quite attractive in my opinion. I don’t see the problem and agree it is the best.
completely agree with x5 being the best. But i don't understand why carwow never review any of Toyota or lexus suvs? Lexus LX570 is one the best in the world..
@@eshanmirash2456 hey! mat also reviews american cars someetimes.... chevrolet silverado and some other american cars in america with the help of edmunds(american carwow)
The new BMW X5 is a worthy first place, it truly is a magnificantly well build as well as well designed car, the rear is especially good, sportive, and powerful looking.
BMW on top, Porsche number 10 = dislike 1. Porsche is faster 2. Porsche handles better 3. Porsche his a much better initial build quality 4. And therefore better long time reliability 5. It is more premium
so you included the Range Rover which lost to a court case regarding their unreliable cars... but you didnt include the Lexus RX which has been a segment leader for years? ok
The court case was regarding a lemon, not unreliability. Stop spouting crap and hopping on the bandwagon. The Lexus RX luxury? Driving it puts you to sleep, one of the most boring cars to own. It’s comfortable no doubt
@@joshuadxlee Good point, but the x5 uses parts from BMW not from VW or any other cars. But the Cayenne is more flashy and does attract a lot of people.
The bang for your money is probably the Cayenne, GLE and X5. (Cars I often hear from upper class people driving despite having enough money for a Bentayga)
Yes, if you don't count that the main buttons are sometimes working sometimes not, there are lots of bugs so the air suspension sometimes moves sometimes not, and a Hungarian car journalist bought one and the seam of the leather is not parallel at all in the dashboard:S .
eyeles You must be talking about another car... the X5 has one of the fastest Displays what bugs.. Air suspension part is absolutely a lie lol that makes no sense. And the buttons aren’t cheap plastic so they’re quality is great meaning there shouldn’t be buttons not working.
@@aidenp5768 search for speedzone X5M50d - guys own car 3.15 buttons not working , 13.00 suspension settings not working , and around 9.30 minutes you can see the dash. Consider that the guy owns the car and loves it but there are some strange faults with it
@@MK7750 You're really uneducated. A. It has one of the most reliable engines ever produced. B. It does not have a CVT, but an 8-Speed Torque Converter Automatic. And C. Although its looks may be controversial, it looks far from piggish. Look to the Bentayga if you want pig-like looks.
Mk 8209 you clearly don’t know anything about the LX570, It’s a very luxurious full size SUV with a very smooth and incredibly reliable 5.7 V8. Also no, It does not have a CVT Please do some research before claiming to anything about the car
Very anti bmw, our x5 bought new from bmw was so bad that we wonder why people buy it. It is totally unreliable, oil leak, door electric problem, window can’t close and engine issues the manufacturer can’t explain... will never ever buy another one again. We spent over $6000 usd fixing it even though it has factory warranty and we bought extended care. Not to mention the time we lost in the dealership... sigh Current Benz GLE and Audi Q7 owner, happy with both products 50k miles in :)
It definitely sounds like a lemon car with those issues you've mentioned. Sorry to hear that. In all honesty, all car or brands no matter what, can have issues. There's no perfect car. I personally own BMW and I haven't had any issues whatsoever apart from really minor things that can be found on a Benz, Audi or a Toyota. In the end it's all about personal preference and current vehicle looks and interiors, I prefer BMW as of now. I liked the previous Mercedes models before these current ones more than BMW. But today's Benz lines and interior don't bring my attention anymore. But good to hear you have had a better experience with the Benz and Audi...two excellent brands just like BMW. Can't go wrong...but unfortunately for you, your BMW sounds like a lemon car which is unfortunate. BMW is just as reliable as a Benz or Audi.
Luck of the draw. I’ve had an Audi(yawn), Jag(great drive, rubbish build), Mercedes(pretty good), Maser(just don’t), Lexus (different but not great) and 3 BMWs over the past 17 years all bar the 3 Beemers has issues requiring expensive manufacturer attention. My dads 2013 X3 has 170k miles and not 1 issue ever.
Technically VW has the most entries since they own audi and Bentley so it's funny how the toureg wasn't included, yes ik that car is absolutely terrible
@@svein-haraldribland8559 yeah but he did include Discovery and Lx 570 is a lot more luxurious than Discovery. Most probably why it was not included was because he had not test the latest version of the LX 570 before.
@@svein-haraldribland8559 do u even know what Toyota landcruisher & Lexus lx570 are? (Luxury+best offroader+more reliable+cheaper than these cars) what do u need more than this?
Rules for buying a big SUV from 2019 onwards.... no diesels (JLR are regretting it). Plugin hybrids can save money. It may not be as luxurious as many here, but for me a XC90 T8 - Plugin, petrol, 7 seats (not too bad leg room) and no one has ever died in any XC90.
Asides the Cullinan, the FPace, Urus and stelvio are also missing and deserve honourable mentions. For the European markets though, the listing would suffice. Elsewhere though, the likes of the Landcruiser Prado, Landcruiser 200 and the LX 570 are the most reliable and capable off-road SUVs with industry leading resale values. My thoughts though
dominik omerso GLE and X5 are in there and they’re true SUVs unlike the X6 and GLE coupe. And Rover is too old. X6 is also going to be replaced later this year for a new gen
Le Chat Botté watch your mouth you dumb peasent, I asked a simple question and now you act all crazy for nothing, so be quiet and quit talking from your arse. Have a good day.
Why does everyone have an issue w/ Bentayga's looks?)) ''only a mother could love''...that bit cracked me up...I could love the Bentayga no problem....Thorough, to the point, and enjoyable a video as always!
Here is the list for your ease ....... 10. Porsche Cayenne 9. Range Rover 8.Land Rover Discovery 7.Mercedes G-Class 6.Bentley Bentayga 5.Mercedes GLE 4.Volvo XC90 3.Audi Q7 2.Audi Q8 1.BMW X5
@Leah Ann Mitchell they don't actually lead the race what about that Mercedes gwago with that big turbocharged engine do you think it get significantly better fuel mileage than the lexus or land cruiser???! And of course the land cruiser or lexus lx570 are way bigger than any other vehicle on this list
@@evenberg2285 Plus they are not LUXURY SUV's. Please dont say the Navigator is, just because Salomondrin was jizzing over the black version. Look at the current state of that nob!
You're right mate - the BMW X5 makes the most sense, and deserves to be at the top for price, practicality, build quality, driving pleasure - just to mention a few. Go Beema!!!!
What about the Land Cruiser Prado or the Land Cruiser 200? Here in Spain both are considered as luxury cars (at least the 200 and the top trims of the Prado).
You cannot compare those European shit boxes to land cruiser or Toyota Land cruisers are just tanks and built to last very long because there is not too much electronics and gimmicks that can fail
