Awesome recommendations!!! Tudor black bay line is a wonderful sporty choice. The Omega Aqua Terra is a great choice for a do everything luxury watch. 😊
I’d personally pick the TAG Heuer Aquaracer 200 over the 300. It’s classier looking with its steel bezel, IMHO. And a better size. The green dial version at 15:30 is killer.
I'm wearing my Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date today. Lots of visual interest on the dial; looks a bit big but it works on my 17 cm wrist. The Black Pearl looks great in the video. Originally I was thinking Omega when I was starting to get back into watches, but I couldn't find one that felt good on my wrist. Yesterday I was wearing my Citizen Super Titanium Zenshin White Dial Small Seconds, courtesy of one of my favorite watch vloggers; love the lightness of the watch and am extremely grateful....thanks Harrison!
To me a spring drive is a solid argument for first luxury watch because it gives you something completely unattainable (besides precious metals) at the affordable segment. While the movements or construction may not be on the same level as luxury you can get ceramic/sapphire bezels, on the flu micro adjust, and traveller's GMT movements at the affordable segment. You absolutely cannot get a spring drive at the affordable segment unless you get a stupid good deal on a used model.
getting iwc mark xx on non-bracelet is HUGE misstep imo - the bracelet is the BEST in the industry, period, and it is the main draw for this watch. You get a tool-less adjustment system, quick release, and micro-adjustment that's seamless integrated into the logo - this is just perfection. You are doing yourself a huge disservice getting it on leather or nato.
While covering speedmaster he said its most expansive watch hes gonna cover in this video XD and we moved to rolex, IWC and Grand Sekio... you meant one of the cheapest?
