It could be the Propylene Glycol, it’s terrible and some people are very sensitive. A lot of waterproof máscaras don’t have it but always check ingredients.
Lorac is hypoallergenic, but it's a luxury brand. There's a British company W7 that you can get on Amazon. They're vegan and cruelty free. They have one hypoallergenic mascara for sensitive eyes. They're a very cheap option. They comparable to Essence.
Thanks for this video! Looking to get a better mascara when I toss my old ones. Just ONE good one. I don't need a bunch that are all going to go bad... Also, are you Filipina? The way you speak sounds similar to my mom. We got the down lashes too.. 😹
Thank you so much for for this great review! Question for you: What lip stick are you wearing and what color is it? So pretty on you! I’d love to purchase the same lipstick as yours. 🙏
You are welcome! Hope you find something that works out for you. I can’t remember what lipstick I used because it’s been such a long time since I made this video.😬 I’ll remember to put my makeup in the description next time. 👍
Sorry to hear! You are not alone . I hope you find one of these work for you, also I’ll be having a part two of more hypo allergenic mascaras so stay tuned!
The last mascara I used was bareminerals, but I had to stop using it because my eyes would burn/sting so bad. I'm older now (but still want to look pretty... LOL!) and I'm wondering if any of those mascaras will work for me. Thanks for all that good info.
I tried the Pixi mascara and it was terrible. I couldn’t get it to go on my lashes well. It seemed like the product would just stay on the wand. Definitely not worth $16...or even $5. I got it because Wayne Goss said it was a great mascara but it was awful for me. Maybe I got a bad one. 🤷🏼♀️
Oh no sorry it didn’t work out for you. I’m thinking you got a bad one. The mascara is a little wet so it shouldn’t have trouble sticking on the lashes !
Tere’s Corner Maybe I did then because the one I got is not wet at all. It’s a drier formula. Hmmm...thank you for your reply! Maybe I’ll try to exchange it instead of just returning it. 💕
I love Tarte!!! Seriously love it. I personally hate the 4 in 1 but the big ego, and the hemp smoothie one is amazing! Clinique I recommend too! I use this one in waterproof in work and it's perfect. That Thrive mascara is amazing too!
@@TeresCorner I can totally send you pictures! Granted, I'm you're basic white girl but I work a stressful job and I definitely recommend the Clinique mascara in waterproof. It is easy off (with the primer, not sure if that makes a difference but I only use it with the primer) and not irritating on my super sensitive eyes
@@nikki2370 You don't have to apologize for your race. The color of one's skin is not what makes someone "basic" or edgy. It's just the color of your skin. Now, if you were commenting on a video about foundation for black skin then mentioning your race would be relevant, but this is about mascara.
I was using the bang bad girl mascara and it was working for me for 8 months but recently my eyes just decided lol let’s start acting up! So now my eye legit turns red and the lids get so puffy when I put my mascara on. I don’t just want to get a new mascara because I’m worried I may have become allergic to a product in the mascara. Sooooo here I am!
That’s the same thing with me. I was doing fine then one day my eyes are super sensitive to certain makeup. Especially mascaras and eyeliners. So that’s how this video was born ☺️
I tried that a while ago and I had the worst burn in the eyes out of all makeup removers I have tried. I have heard from so many people that they love it but for me it was so incredibly painful. Strange.
I used thrive and that's why I'm here with a pink eye right now the mascara is amazing but my eye is pink and last week the other was pink, I'm so scared to use it again, BUT maybe it was the cheaper micellar water I brought instead of the Garnier I usually use.... So maybe just maybe I'll try it again but I really think it was the mascara
Have you tried using eyeshadow for your eyeliner instead? I like makeup remover cloths. There’s a few different ones. The original makeup remover cloth (it’s pink and sold at Sephora) or Halo. They take off my makeup without irritating my eyes. Hope this helps!
The major drugstores still eye makeup remover pads labeled as eye lid cleaning pads, in the pharmacy department for people w sensitive eyes, and a certain condition that I also have but forget the name of. Buy these!!!! The best!!! Meant not even for makeup but for sensitive eyes, and with the benefit of makeup removal
I tried the Thrive one and its VERY clumpy after first application. I am white, blonde, and have hooded eyes for reference and I couldn't make it work. Just terrible I am sending it back and am disappointed because I had been looking forward to receiving it (it took 2 weeks to arrive) and now I am having to return it. Thanks for your review however I think it's hard to get a good sense of what to choose when you have sensitive skin and eyes because everything has some bad ingredients in it. So if you get a fragrance free one chances are it's got some other harmful ingredient in it.
just suddenly one day I started getting watering eyes with eye makeup...so I stopped using eyeshadow (thinking the powder was getting in my eyes) but my eyes still got bloodshot and watery. next I eliminated eyeliners (after 3 brands tryout) so only wore mascara and still the problem persisted -.-
For me, mascara is the greatest culprit, then eyeliner, and lastly (ironically) the powdery eye shadow. I can often wear even a cheap eye shadow, but not mascara go figure. I use the darkest shade as eyeliner. Just something to try.... It's so individual and specific! Thought this might help you on a day you really needed makeup! Lol. I a thinking fake eyelashes with the built in tape maybe for me next. Out of desperation I might try the shortest ones. Ugh.
@@TeresCorner I know and Iove their other products and the companies mission statement. I think its so wet and dries so hard they just broke off. Pacifica's unicorn mascara did the same thing :(
