I love CNETs reviews and had no clue you focus on these types of products. This one was especially helpful because you referenced not only performance but pricing. Thank you!!!
This was one of the best reviews I’ve seen for mattress toppers. Having had back surgery a few backs, my matress and topper are needing replaced. Overwhelmed with choices and truly appreciated, informative, sort and to the point youtube video. Al the needed info right in description box below, just as stated! Thank you so much!!
In review of all the toppers listed, I think I'd like the Casper topper. The material appears to be well made and at the support level I'd appreciate. Great review
I would like to try Caspers mattress topper, I like the textured beading layer to help the topper stay in place so it doesn’t move around when you sleep on it.
If you haven't tried a Home of Wool topper you guys are missing! Best purchase of my life.. so comfy, supportive, and aesthetic. My sleep has never been better and my health is only improving since the topper contains no chemicals or synthetics.
I’m in the market for a new mattress and ideally, I’m hoping that my choice won’t need a mattress topper but I’ve been thinking about getting an air mattress for guest in my new place and I had the idea of maybe getting a mattress topper for that! Sooooo, all that yo say, that based off of this video, I would probably like to try the allswell bc it’s such an affordable option.
I would love to try the tempur pedic topper. Ive had a mattress from them for 16 years, it’s been a life saver. Now, it’s starting to lose its support. If the topper is as good as the mattress it’s worth every pretty penny. It might extend the mattress life too.
I would like to try out the brentwood cedar luxe topper just cause I've never tried latex foam and its pretty awesome how serious they are about being environmentally friendly.
I would try the Casper topper if cost was no big deal for me, but since it is, I’d rather spend money for a good mattress and not need a topper. Thanks for the review!!
I purchased the serta 2-inch perfectsleeper feather & down fiber top yesterday. It came in as air-sealed bag. There were no instruction on how to fluff or maintain. Mine does not look like the picture. The sections do not seem to be holding the feather & down separately. Hopefully it is going to fluff out to be thicker as the picture presents!
If I sink to the bottom of a 6 inch foam mattress would putting a firm topper UNDER the mattress prevent the sinking? What firm toppers would you recommend that could accomplish this? Can I buy firmer support base layers separate from mattresses? If so how firm and how thick?
Giveaway: I think I'd like to try the Layla topper personally. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it to get a cheaper mattress and get a nice topper for the feel you want?
none, you are supposed to do it the other way around buy a firm mattress and then if necessary compensate it with a mid firm/soft topper otherwise youre cooked😂
I just got a nectar mattress but it feels a little more firm than I was expecting. Will it soften up over time or would a topper be a good idea to soften up the feel?
Why is the emphasis always on "softening up" an existing mattress? I want something to firm up a sagging mattress, surely that's a more common problem?
Put a wood plank underneath, between the box spring and mattress. It helps with sagging. Bob and Brad- physical therapists on youtube recommended that if you're on a tight budget. There are no toppers to firm up a sagging mattress.
