My man saved me, I have refused to play 3 or 5 back ever in fifa bc ppl consider it ratty. I gave up and tried this, no kidding here I was struggling bad in div 1 now I just steamrolled someone 9-1 and I am on a 4 unbeaten streak since I switched to these tactics. This is so op. Most important guy in this formation is that striker who comes back on defence. He is winning everything for me. Am using Gapko in that number.

I have one winger come back on defense and have the other stay forward and get in behind, it just gives more width and body's to counter opposed to having both wingers all the way back

I dont even understand this game literally made all my defensive formations on 1 depth because they were too much up the field for my liking they are still all constantly on the halfway line if not even in my opponents half

This fifa has exposed noobs massively. Its a passing, more tactical game. Loads of players parking the bus, using lightning fast wingers and running them to death. I a have always been a methodical passer. Playing against these people, it's so easy to nullify these players. They give away loads of free kicks and pens, and game stats are hilarious, my last match i had 198 passes to my opponents 46. Only problem I find is, it still feels slow and clunky at times, and keepers are massively op. And Ai blocks are really fucking annoying. But since I discovered this channel, my game has exponentially improved. So... thank you for posting all the vids bro. Much appreciated.

In division 5 and higher everyone are using a pressure tactic.... it's difficult to play any formation on balance.... it's crazy and annoying

I feel like div 4 is when it starts to get sweaty af. After steamrolling thru div 5 (won 4-5 matches in a row to get promotion), my first game in div 4 I lost to some crazy sweat lol

U have No clue about this game, div 1 player here and i switched to this 352 on balance coz since last upgrade i struggle with all of my formations that includes Press after possesion loss or Press on heavy touch

@@michamaecki5678 I’ve been playing 5-4-1 since the late September and it has worked really well to retain possession anywhere on the pitch. It’s allowed me recycle with all kinds of players standing around near me while others are making their runs into the box. I’ve always played to work goals in the box since I can remember. Even if outside of the box shots are meta that year. It’s just more enjoyable to break someone down and work a shot in-front of goal.

I've been using 4 2 2 2. Been liking ti for the most part. But my defence still leaks goals for fun. I miss using wingers so hope this will be a way for me to use them again. Could I get away with using one striker that isn't to fast and the other being fast? Also lm and rm. Do they need to be more attacking or more physical defending

Thx for the video mate, I was just wondering, what's the difference between this one and the 5122 you showed previously? I'm playing in 5122 but i can't get more than 14 wins in weekend league, since I'm having a hard time scoring on some matchups, so I'm considering changing to 352

I find 5122 more attacking and I always have a passing option when attacking. 352 is a more balanced formation because although you've got one more CDM, the wingers are by default moving forward more aggressively, since they are technically part of the 5 in the middle, not 5 at the back. It really depends on your preferred play style.

In 5122 if you don't use the d-pad tactics or put them on join the attack, you'll find that they try to stay back while you're attacking. It gives you the option to choose when to push forward.

@@jin__67 oh OK I see, and what does it change to have one more cdm ? In 5122 you basically have only 1 cdm for 2 cam, and in 3412 it's the opposite so I was worried about this tactic being to defensive

@@mathieuvidal5164 If you find it too defensive, you can set one of the CDMs as balanced or get forward and man mark instead of cut passing lanes. Should still use cover center. I find this to be pretty good, and I'm even using slow build up. If that's still too defensive, you could always use L1/2 triggers to manually move players.

I tested the 352 of your latest tactical video unfortunately I play too often against players using a 4222 and it kills the 352. Is it really useable? I translated my question, I hope it is understandable

In 352 you have to keep possession. 85%+ pass accuracy. Stop holding sprint and do only passes that you are sure will connect. CAM is most important player in this formation, followed by the 2 wingers. It's important to change both wingers around 65 minutes to allow them to get behind the tired defenders more easily.

@@0xEden. mahn am so glad i read your comment....the stop holding sprint part is what all these folks arent telling...it doesnt matter what tactics or formation you use....if u keep holding the sprint you are doomed....dont hold sprint en simply make precise passes and trigger ur players forward sometimes in the opponents half..

Note to LM/RM: If you put only one of them on "Stay back" you can defend in a 4411 or in a 442 if you put the CAM instead of the ST on "Come back on defense". I think you can better score goals, if you defend in a 442 or a 4411 with 3 at the back. If there are 5 at the back in defense, you often have to wait that the LM or/and the RM runs forward, because there is hardly witdh in attack. However, that's personal preference.

I did this but my defence was soo poor and it was down to my cbs somehow instead of the flanks. However they were solid in a normal 4 back. Switching to balanced build up play and reducing players in the box kinda fixed it. Monster going forward but still leaks a bit at the back

it's been a top 3 formation since the start, imo the 4-3-2-1, 5-2-1-2 and the 4-2-2-2 are the best formations.

try Not to hold sprint when playing use it only when necessary...otherwise fifa 23 will work wonders for you if u simply stop sprinting alot en just make simple passes as well as u move slowly en trigger ur ppl for forward passes only when in ur oponents box....u wont bliv how good u will become..

@@jq1003 So thats your fault your defence is open, if you cant defend with a 3-5-2 with a back 5, 2 CDMS, arguably the most defensive formation in the game its because you are AWFUL not the tactics, dont make excuses make the change defend better. These are facts, to help you, other creators will lie to you to make them like you. My job is to make you better.
