Hello everyone!
I’m back with my second episode on San Diego. Coming from the East Coast, we naturally tried multiple Mexican restaurants there and wanted to make an episode breaking down each of them.
The one thing in common? The chewy hand-made tortilla. This was something I’ve never had before and was mind blowing, and makes the tacos so much better. The tortilla gave me a peak of the soul in Mexican food.

Cuatro milpas is soooooo bad, as far as "Mexican" food goes it doesn't get worse in quality than that spot. Tortillas are nice sure, but their proteins and beans and rice are soooo bad.

I’m actually very interested to hear this. I was honestly having some mixed feelings about the place. It seemed to have the reputation of THE MOST authentic spot and in some ways it was, but I agree there was nothing special, for example, with the pork. I also don’t have a clear expectation of what a good chorizo con huevos should be like, but it did feel rather bland.

@@hungrymonster42 it's authentic, if you grew up in extremely poor Mexican conditions. But all of these dishes can be cooked properly if you have the resources and knowledge to do so. This place is honestly fucking disgusting.

I agree with this comments...everytime I see review video or someone talking about it I must tell them its not how the original owners cooked, only the name lives.
