I’ve already gone through the full game twice, though not to 100% yet. In hindsight, I absolutely curb stomped the story in my first play-through compared to the somewhat level of difficulty I had the 2nd time around. The difference was definitely my Coatol/Flapdragon, which has been my favorite monster since DWM1. Just give it Bang Virtuoso and it will deal AoE 300-500+ dmg to kill everything in 1-3 turns. Even major bosses went down in 3 rounds or less thanks to having literally anything else in the team to deal extra damage.
