Marine 31 work's amazing. It works exactly like this video, so easy to spray on and i let it sit for 15 minutes then used a scrub brush and my boat came out so clean. Don't waste your money or time on anything else. Marine 31 is definitely the best and easiest boat cleaner
The upholstery in my boat had been severely neglected. My seats looked more like my asphalt driveway than white vinyl. I sprayed this on the seat & let it set for about 10 minutes. Came back & gave it a light scrub with some soapy water & it looked really good. Hit a few spots with a second coat & another light scrub & it looks like new. I was seriously considering getting the seats reupholstered. Best $ I’ve spent on any boat care product - this stuff is freakin amazing!!
Bought it for a couple of tough mildew spots. My only beef is that it cleaned so well the Seats around it look dingy, had to do the whole boat. It looks great and I am loving this product.
You can add dawn (surfactant) to bleach for pennies on the dollar. Everything I have read says no bleach as it destroys the stitching. This happened on my other boat so I know it's true. I am reluctant to use any bleach product. I have tired everything on the market except for Marine 31 but again the bleach scares me. I have also read you can neutralize the bleach with baking soda then apply 303. If you are going to use any bleach product I would at the least rinse the heck out of it with fresh water.
It's not bleach it's a lot more then that. I detail and referb boats for one of the biggest marinas in the country and those mold stains do not come out with just bleach or bowl cleaner. That marine 31 is a lifesaver it works.
Bleach by itself has no detergency. It has to be blended with surfactants. Surfactants make water "wetter". This helps products penetrate and carry away soils. ( 30+ years in the Janitorial Supply Business )
Oh yeah it removes the mildue but destroys the stitching, we literally watched our stitching go from perfect and black to white and stringy in like 2 minutes 😮💨
