Best Military Electric Bikes 2024 

There needs to be a bike that combines all the best elements of the bikes you discuss. - Like the Sur Ron has, all military bikes must have a built-in (integrated) high-speed charger, e.g., 52 V 8A, this so the bike's battery can plug into any available 110 to 220 receptacle. - The charger must variable connectivity. E.g., can be charged with the above 110 outlet, or charged via any 12v source (such as a military vehicle battery) with an included 12v "jumper cables" stowed in a compartment on the bike. - Instead of one large battery, the bike should have two separate batteries. The bike should have a battery balancer. At the operator's choosing, the bike can be run in single or dual battery mode. The idea is redundancy, specifically: if one battery fails the operator may be able to use the good battery. With a single battery, if it fails the operator is dead in the water. - There should be wiring, electronic components, and a mount system that allows the operator to "plug n' play" a third battery. - The battery should be encased in a metal housing so that it is protected. - The batteries must be all-weather, not subject to performance degradation in harsh, cold, or hot environments. - All switches, buttons, or anything that goes clickity-click must be military grade, including 110% water and dust proof. - The entire bike must be SEALED so that absolutely nothing can leach into the electronics, gears, motor, levers, cables, etc. - Mechanical brakes are simple and easily maintained/repaired, but hydraulic brakes are less likely to be compromised or damaged. - The running gear should be a fully-enclosed belt or shaft drive, where nothing can get inside the housing. No chain drive. Those often fail, are easily compromised, and subject to Murphy's Law. Moreover, chain drives are not power-efficient. The - An elongated motorcycle-style seat that can be modified in the field to accept a passenger, arms, equipment, or cargo. - An optional small trailer rig (similar to what's available on many utility e-bikes nowadays). - For ease of repairs, modification, or upgrading: all systems should be modular (e.g., the motor should easily be swapped). - The wheels cannot be easily damaged or otherwise compromised. Lightweight heavy duty mag type wheels are best, never spoke wheels. - Regarding wheels, bike must be able to ride at speed on the bare rims. - Mechanical suspension system that is impervious to sand or water damage. - Aluminum satchel mount for a rifle positioned in the front of the operator, another in the rear for a passenger rider. - Easily replaced front and rear wheels/tires. - Run-flat tires. - Various light options, operator can choose mode. - Steel frame with military-grade welds. - Bike must be able to withstand a high impact drop or "hard landing" - bike is undamaged and running after said impact. OK, that's all I require, for now.

Honestly I’m the future I could see militaries using electric bikes/electric motorcycles for their dead quietness, easy maintenance and really good torque, also basically no fuel cost.

My E-CELLS Super Crown Monarch has 2 wheel drive, 2 batteries, DUAL suspension (but 95 pounds!) I have one for hunting and love it. It is a CARGO bike with a 400 pound weight limit including rider weight. 4.25"wide VEE Bulldozer tires. The company HQ is in Pahrump, Nevada, 40 miles north of Las Vegas and owned by a disabled vet. -> I'm hoping we will soon have lighter, faster charging SOLID STATE EMTB batteries as auto manufacturers get that technology. MILITARY E-BIKES NEED TO BE SUPPORTED WITH SPARE BATTERIES JUST AS I.C.E. VEHICLES ARE SUPPORTED WITH GAS AND DIESEL. The Stalker by CARNIVORE looks like the best of this lot. Now it just needs front wheel drive and a 2nd battery under the rear rack. See the E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown as an example of a well thought out E-MTB that can be considered "military grade".

With the price of a electric bicycle you can buy a motorcycle for a few dollars more ,they even have a frunt fender, a head light tail light and turn signals. The most important thing is you can use it on the regular street. Grabbin Nutsom wants US to buy electric cars and electric everything else but doesn't want electric bicycles on the street. Hippiecrat
