A very well thought out video! I do wish there was a fuji somewhere in there. I use an X-T200 and though it's not the best budget camera out there, I wouldn't use a camera from any other brand. Just love the photos out of it.

I would recommend anyone looking at the A7C to get it in your hands first, especially if you have larger fingers. VERY little space between the grip and the lens, especially with larger lenses.

Off topic but just got an EF 24mm for my Canon 4000D this Christmas so hopefully my photo quality will be at least on par with the Rebel T7 like

You are going to get great photos, because it depends on the photographer not the expense of the camera. I have a camera that is 20 years old and is only 5MP. People beg me for copies of the photos and have them expensively framed. I have many other cameras, SLRS + mirrorless and I find it is composition and creativity that makes all the difference.

so which would you recommend for my needs, i go to a lot of concerts and want great camera for photo and video, should i just get the new samsung s24 ultra, or maybe Fuji xs20 or this Sony a7 c mark2

Maybe Sony Rx100vii. Compact camera, you can zoom a lot due to it's lens and it is WAY better than any smartphone camera. Cellphone camera will disappoint you on "speedy" situations. Most of pics will be blurred

I went from an A7IV to the RV but surprisingly I don’t really do photography for work. I’m exclusively shooting close up to macro products videos. No low light, no slow motion, and I really liked the 4 axis screen

a7IV or a7c would be a great choice for anything video over the a7rV

What was the beginner camera you recommended for raw photos? Was it the a6700?

Best budget and beginner camera is the Sony a7iii for photography. The camera is 5 years old and its video quality is only 8-bit, but for photography, it still excel very well. Not to mention, if you wait for sales, the a7iii goes as low as $1,500 usd from $2,000 usd. A6700 is great too but keep in mind its a crop sensor camera. Most importantly is to go Mirrorless as Mirrorless will teach about the triangle exposure much easier than DSLR ever will.

Was thinking the same thing. Panasonic and Nikon make some pretty good cameras. Z8 would be good too.

Great point. here was my thinking behind it. s5 and panasonic has iffy autofocus and i can't get myself to recommend them. I mention the a7IV. the a7rV is too expensive its for pros. fx3 is a 12mp sensor so it won't work for someone who wants both. and the a6700 is basically a more consumer directed version of the fx30. plus it has a few features that are better.

because its almost 8-9k ?Its the same reason hassleblad and leica don't end up on these list. They are just not relevant to most people. I would probably do a separate video called " best mirrorless camera for professional"

the a7c mk II i love. or the r6 mk Ii . Both are super solid. If you already are in the canon eco system you might prefer the r6 mk II
