@@SniperMechanics Hi.Im very new to airsoft, only played 6 games.I never thought I'd find something so intresting and I'm sensing a growing intrest with airsoft. So many possibilities for different things. That aside your video was as I said really helpful.Im sensing il probably need your assistance as I've seen a few vids😣 on how to get the perfect silence from a VSR and they all mentioned SniperMechanic.👍💎
Just found your channel, this video is one of the best I’ve seen on the MK23. Very well detailed and the explanations are great! I really want to get into silenced airsofting, but it’s all new to me I was originally going to get the TM LCP/ Bodyguard as I liked how small they were. But one of the mod’s doesn’t seem to work it’s more for looks, or maybe I’ve gotten that wrong? So I’m thinking of a MK23, I was going to go for the SSX as I’ve been told it’s the best out the box. But I can’t find any place in the U.K. retailing the SSX. So I’m thinking the TM is the way to go, the only thing putting me off is the mods. The trigger mod looks pretty hard to do. And is all the suppressor needing done is the tape, fart flap mod? And I’m I right in thinking .25 BBs out the box? Going to sub can’t wait for more videos! Edit, metal upgrade kits would be nice!
Nice video, thanks, your videos are very helpful in avoiding mistakes when upgrading parts. One thing though, please stop saying M K 23, it's a Mk23 (Mark23). Good job though, I'll be ordering some parts from Empire soon. I would like to put a long barrel in my Mk23, to extend through the suppressor, which one would you recommend. ❤
Thanks for this video mate! Love it I want to see if I can get my hands on a TM MK23 here across the pond in the US. They are difficult to find it seems
I've seen mixed reviews on them, but I can't personally comment as I've not used them myself. The Hadron bits are good, but I know others that like the Waldo stuff
Thanks mate.. just go my 2023 flamingo from Mantis. Can’t get the TM in Germany, so had to get the Nov one. Got a stalker Stainless and a Tridos Hop plate. Just treated myself to the Maple Leaf MLC-338, as it’s quite long already, and pretty quiet, I was thinking of running your short hex suppression.. thoughts?
Hey there! So i bought the ssx 430 modify barrel for my sniper and every shot was great until i have put 60-70 bbs through it. The bbs started going in all directions so i took the barrel out and there saw bb residue on the window. With the crazy jet i have never experienced this thing and i am using bls 0.45. I think the problem is the interior finish of the barrel, it is not that smooth like the crazy jet (i know it is coated and i hate that, thats why i wanted a new barrel ;) ) Have you experienced the same problem? Thanks!
All Bb's leave a degree of residue (Even BLS which are some of the better quality ones) in barrels and the Steel barrels are polished to a much better degree than an ML barrel. If there is residue it's likely where to much hop is being applied and it's ground the BB to the bottom of the barrel, or a more common issue is the nozzle not bright straight in the hop unit, this causing the bb's to get pushed against chamber entrance fouling them.
Hello mate, great video, I have one question, have you experienced any FPS cap with the stti mk23 ? (not being able to reach 0,9j+) As im grabing one of those to make it a dmr, that would be a real issue (that happened to a friend of mine, he jad to change his trigger assembly to resolve it) Thank you very much !
Hey Buddy, The FPS cap can happen for a few reasons in my experience, the most common the the springs have worn so the hammer isn't hitting as hard as it did before, or the internals could simply be dirty. However with clone mags and MKs like the STTI they just generally have low output due the valves used on them. Also are you chroning with the hop set on the ammo you're using?
@@SniperMechanics Well, I will receive mine at the end of the month (a friend is creating a custom carbine kit for it) so Im hopping It wont happen to mine. If that happen, I will look at that then thank you very much for your answer. By the way Ive seen that bending the hammer spring upward could solve the issue (as it apply a bit more pressure on the valve) have you tried it ? Love your content, take care :)
If we just change the inner barrel and the bucking (both maple leaf) will it still be compatible with the stock hop up chamber and hop up wheel ? Or is it crucial to also take the gold piece and the TDC ? Thanks for this video :)
If you want good performance, they are crucial. The barrel and bucking will work with the stock chamber and fit. However, they stock hop arm flexes and doenst have the stability to have good accuracy and range, it will under and overhop on heavy ammo and eventually you'll get hooking due to how the stock hop arm is pulled down on one side
Do you do anything to the trigger to quiet the action, to me that is the loudest part of a mk23 When are we going to see the flamingo AEG bucking in stores? I'm itching to get one in my MTW
I actually got gray fox to mod my old MK23 trigger, he'd be a great person to ask. Aeg bucking wise, no set date, still doing longevity testing with testers, but its all going well
Having difficulty getting replacement TM MK23 part# SC-44 hammer torsion spring. A few spainish companies have them but won't ship. Any help would be greatly appreciated
