The "Best Mobile Games of 2023" TIER List update is out. Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tRU72WnVK5I.htmlsi=IUFxNBj8qlrn0JGM
Haha, seems like we share a similar taste in mobile games then :) If you feel like trying something new, any of the A-tier games are also great experiences in their own right. Depending on which genre you like.
@@NimbleThor what about Guardian tales it's the only game that interests me as much as Genshin...the level of parody reference humour is insane in Guardian tales.
I really wanted to play it. I was very hyped leading up to the release, but I missed the launch somehow... So since I didn't play it, i couldn't include it in this list - unfortunately. Sounds amazingly fun! 😎
Thank you 🙏 Hope you're gonna enjoy the future content I'll be creating too. I've got huge plans for the year and this channel. Thanks for the support 😎 Stay awesome!
I love how you gave a bunch of different types of mobile games rather than just mainly shooters like most others channels tends to do. Epic props, subbed.
Thanks mate, I'm glad to hear you liked that approach. I like to play a variety of game genres, so I wanted to do the same for this video :) Hope you'll enjoy the future content I've got planned for 2021 and beyond. Stay awesome! 🙏
I don't personally prefer the anime art style myself, but I tend to focus on gameplay above all else. There are lots of games in there that don't have an anime style, like Cookies Must Die, Gwent, Klee, Bullet Hell Monday, Metboy, Astrogon, Boom Slingers, and Minimal Dungeon, to just name a few 😊
@@xenotronia6681 you're probably new to gacha system but there's an important thing you need to know... Most mobile game is gacha. So welcome, to the gacha world. If you don't like it just because the gacha system, then don't play it. It's that simple. 😀
@@xenotronia6681 yeah you know it’s the gacha part of the game that makes it free, if it wasn’t there I could easily see this game selling for 60+ dollars
You have such an amazing accent, and even better humor. I just got a new ipad air and I wanted to see some interesting games, Sky of course is my favorite. Btw I think you should try making videos about PC games, I'm sure alot of people will be interested. All the best for you!
@@NimbleThor You're welcome buddy! I think you could make a similar success If you try to make content for a wider community, because you got all it takes.
Thanks mate 😊 I appreciate the advice. Mobile gaming is all I really care about though, so I'm gonna stick to the niche and hope for the best, haha 😂 Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for dropping by 🙏
How are you liking it so far? I bought my mom the standard iPad a while ago, but have been thinking of upgrading it to the air for her? You think it's worth the money?
Yeey! Thanks for the A-tier rank. We'll work hard to be deserving of this in our updates. And fantastic video! Lot of interesting games I seem to have missed this year.
Kick Flight felt so fun with not many games having this approach with the Gacha System having a high impact but not so high its unplayable. Kick-Flight you will be missed
No worries, hope you'll have a wonderful weekend :) And hey, if you enjoy mobile gaming, you can always have a look around the channel and see if you like what you see.
Also, I recommend a game called dead by daylight, it’s basically a horror online game where you can play as either a killer or survivor. If you are a killer: you have to kill all four survivors before they do all five generators and escape. If you are a survivor: you have to do all five generators and leave using the exit gates to win. And all of the perks and add ons help the survivors or the killers to bring home the bacon I hope you try it out :)
Thanks mate, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Be sure to have a look around the channel if you're into mobile gaming. If you like what you see, you can always subscribe
As an ex-player on Dragon Raja, I do agree with your opinion; the game belongs on the E tier. I know the monetization that went to the downfall not only that the game became boring for some people (including myself) that’s why a lot of people who played this game are starting to leave or already left the game. Don’t get me wrong, Dragon Raja is a good game, but the devs don’t really treat this game justice and its community very well. The devs are already making another game called Noah’s Heart. So who knows If there any future for this game or the game will be abandon by the devs and community once Noah’s Heart will be released.
Funny Guardian Tales wasn't mentioned. It has a pretty unique and amazing story mode and gameplay (S-tier), but, once you clear it, all you got left to do is put the game on auto mode for 2~3 weeks until the next 30min-long piece of story content is released (which dropped it to a C-tier in my eyes and made me quit). Then you learn that its gacha has no pity and they release meta-shifting units pretty much once a month (good luck keeping up with that).
Haha, oh snap. I really wanted to include it, but I didn't get to play it, so I couldn't. I was excited for the game prior to release, but completely missed the launch. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the game, that's interesting to read about 😊
I got a back injury and have to stay bedridden for the next 3 weeks and was looking for good mobile games to sate my gaming addiction :D Great list and thank you sooooo much for including a text version of the list in the description, made my life so much easier :) Found that video on reddit btw ^^
Hey mate, sorry I didn't see this comment before now. I try my very best to respond to as many of them as possible! :) Glad to hear you found the channel / video through Reddit. Hope your bedridden "journey" is going alright and that you're recovering well. Take care.
Yeah, it really just blows my mind that the game isn't more popular. Sure, it has a decent player-base, but I feel like it could easily be one of the top-10 mobile games. Glad to hear you're enjoying it too, haha :) And thanks for stopping by to leave a comment 🤘
i mean its a very great game especially for it to be a gacha mechanic based game i think people disliked it because unless you dive into it and spend time in it, it just looks like a legend of zelda BOTW rip off with the backgrounds looking so similar
I know, mate..and it sucks that I missed it, because I was so excited for the game prior to launch. By the time it actually launched, I had forgotten about it again, and so since I never got around to playing it, I wasn't able to include it on this video. The game seems amazing though! Is it an S tier game in your opinion?
@@NimbleThor SS+ I am not even kidding. The story is really good, and worth engaging with. All the other modes are super fun as well. The gacha system is beyond fair, and honestly kinda too good for its own good. You can easily reach the high class in pvp as a f2p (cause I did it myself). Talking about that, the pvp aspects are also pretty good. The devs amd support team are truly amazing, always listening and actually implementing the feedback into the game. The support team is very quick and reliable. If you ever make a purchase mistake, or delete an item by mistake trust me support team will get you it back in a few minutes. I spent 300 tickets of a pity system currency, which take time to earn on a weapon, later I regretted it. I wrote to the support team and they instantly refunded( (ofc they have their refund policies to avoid exploiting it, like a 72 hour time span to refund something like such, so make your mind quick whenever you use a lot of an important currency), but yeah. Currently this game has it all. Its a must play from me.
@@NimbleThor its ss tier after all the updates it has gotten, it became incredibly free to play (did 800 premium summons in 3 months) and the new story stages got even more amazing
I was really hyped leading up to its release but completely missed it when it finally launched. So I unfortunately couldn't include it in this video. I'm pretty confident it's an S or A tier game though! How would you rank it? 🤗
Thanks mate. Hope you'll enjoy the games :) As for Guardian Tales, I cannot believe I completely forgot about that game. I was hyped about it's launch, but then completely missed its launch! I'll go play it over the holidays, haha. I take it you find it to be an S-tier game?
Great video, my only problem is your s tier ranking of genshin impact, in your recent games ranking you gave tower of fantasy an E tier though both games are very similar, even similar monetization
First of all, thank you 😊 I hope you'll stick around and enjoy the future videos too. Next one coming really soon - about the best upcoming games. As for Tower of Fantasy vs Genshin Impact, the big reason why I ranked Tower of Fantasy lower is that it lagged even on a new flagship device, the controls can't be customized as much as in other similar games, and I ran into a lot of bugs while playing (some would force me to restart the game). It just lacks some polish in comparison to Genshin. I do think that over time, the game could definitely become much much better 👏 And I hope it will. Also, it might already have improved since I played it 4 months ago. It sounds like you've played it recently? 😊
You understimated Dragon Raja so much, it's amazing and beautiful but for me it's complicated, too much stuff to do. Genshin Impact by far the best game!
I was definitely super impressed by Dragon Raja's size and amount of content :) I just really don't like the route they went with their monetization (has gotten worse over time, it seems), and the focus on auto-gameplay. These are just my opinions. Maybe a D-score could have been enough. And yeah, Genshin Impact is awesome!
I honestly can't believe how much effort has been put into this one video. You've earned yourself one of the easiest subs I could give buddy, please keep pushing out great content like this
Thanks a bunch, mate. I appreciate you joining the community here on the channel, and I hope you'll enjoy the future videos. I've got lots planned, and towards the end of the year, I hope to also start doing more of these types of "tier list videos" for various genres of games. Have a great rest of your Tuesday :)
Haha, the looong long time it took to add them all paid off then :P Glad to have you here, mate. Hope to see you around in the comments :) Stay awesome!
It's a fantastic game indeed, and with almost half a million ratings on Google Play, I think it's safe to say it is actually rather popular :) It's not as popular as some other games are, I agree. But I think that's because the game is so unique - it's not for everyone. But those who like these types of games LOVE it! :)
i LOVED this video nimble! great recap of this year, and i totally forgot about some gems that i have downloaded and never got around to playing! 'next up though, next up though, next up though' lol loved the bloopers!
Heeey mate! Was hoping you'd drop by! :) Thanks, glad that you enjoyed it. And yeah, NimbleWife insisted that we kept those bloopers in, haha 😋 I guess she was right on that one, haha.
Arknights, Kickflight, Minimax are good games. Just have didn't time to stay on it especially the latter two. I'm really dumb on Kickflight and got tired on Minimax. Gwent is interesting, played a few games, but i don't know the series aside from the Netflix one.
Super cool to hear your thoughts on these games, mate! :) I actually haven't played the games GWENT originates from either, but I just really enjoy it. It feels different from other CCGs. What has been your absolutely favorite game of the year?
@@NimbleThor i don't know what games came out this year but i'm currently playing Pokemon Masters, FEH and Wild Rift. i did like the new revamp of Skylanders RoH, tried it is great. so mostly gachas. I did try Genshin, game is also great if it is actually like a single player RPG but it isn't and I don't much like the grind.
Great to hear that Pokemon Masters is still fun and doing well. I enjoyed it when I played it too! And yeah, I really gotta get into Wild Rift. It will launch in the US early next year, but I can already download it in Europe now :)
My eyes were literally tryna find sky!!!!! And I saw it yessssss finally someone knows sky except our reddit and discord server hehe. This game need more recognition it's absolutely amazing!!!!
What is it that make genshin impact fun and top 1.there's no auto battle like the other game 2.there's no auto mission locate 3.it a crossplay 4.it's an anime art style 5.they have a cute small loli paimon 6.they have a legal loli characters 7.they have a hot characters And the most important thing is you can travel anywhere in anytime while doing anything
Its sad that monitization has become such a huge factor in determining the quality of a game. If the developers are constantly updating and providing a live service, I don't mind paying, but if you want to play multiple games, you gotta pick and choose which games deserve your money. As someone that wants to dominate and become good at anything I do, its disheartening when skill or ingenuity can't make up for what money can do for you.
I absolutely agree with you, Richard. That's why I spent quite a bit of time talking about how the monetization impacts the gameplay experience in all of my videos. I try to search for those games where the monetization has the LEAST negative impact :)
I know someone would really be unhappy about that, but remember it was just my own personal opinion of the game. I might have been a bit hard on the game. What I pushed it down for me was the monetization and lack of trying something different. Would you rank it as an S or A tier? Curious to hear what you loved about it 😊 The beauty of mobile gaming is that there's always something for everyone 😍
I was really hyped for Guardian Tales prior to its release, but I missed the launch and since I didn't play it, I wasn't able to include it in this list. Seems like a fantastic game though, I'm glad it's doing so well! :) How would you rank it?
Haha, oh snap. I really wanted to include it, but I didn't get to play it, so I couldn't. I was excited for the game prior to release, but completely missed the launch. I feel pretty confident I would have rated it as A or S tier though! 😎
Ig Brawlhalla is not included cuz it was actually released back in 2017 but it got a mobile release this year. But when it comes to best mobile game this year, it's ofc Sky: Children of Light and Genshin Impact.
Ah yes, Brawlhalla! I played it on PC when it released in 2017, but I unfortunately never got around to playing the game on mobile. I do want to check it out though, and I've had it installed for some months. Thanks for the reminder :) And yeah, Sky is amazing, and so is Genshin. Pretty great year :)
The worst part of Kick-Flight is that it never got popular, and never made it to its first anniversary and died at March 2021... F in the chat for Kick-Flight
Why is that, mate? :) It didn't release in 2020, so I couldn't fully include it, but I wanted to highlight that they actually finally added the features we were all hoping for; landscape mode and real-time multiplayer.
[ FOR THOSE WHO WANNA PLAY GENSHIN IMPACT ] no spoilers included. Found out the minimum specs for the game you can play Genshin Impact with a Nvidia Geforce 820m pc but it does glitch at times it happens very rarely. I replayed Genshin Impact on my laptop witch has that graphics card and it worked fine all missions worked perfectly.
2021 is going to be such a great year for mobile gaming though. 2020 was good, but I think this year will be even better, considering the awesome games that are lined up for release 😊
I don't think I have ever seen such a well made video for mobile games You just earned a sub bro keep it up P.S. it's a shame kick flight got shut down it was such a cool game
Thanks a bunch! I'm happy to have you here, and I'll do one of these big videos at the end of this year too. I've also got lots of other ideas for mobile gaming videos - hope you'll enjoy them all 😊
@@NimbleThor I'm sure I will buddy I watched a few of your other videos too Your content it awesome! Btw I think you might enjoy guardian tales definitely an S tier mobile game in my book
I agree bro but sadly the community isn't that big and the game requires too much to play smoothly comparing to the average internet speed and phone people have plus mechanic is a bit hard to learn for most people
hey nimble. its Zai. Long time no see. I use to be a long time fan and discord mod. I hope you haven’t forgotten me haha. I’m super glad your back to uploading!
I just proceed to ambient loading screen of genshin impact then headed to youtube to see what people think best mobile game is. Genshin thumbnails were not a surprise. Beautiful job mihoyo...
Haha, awesome that the RU-vid algorithm got you here 😊 If you like mobile gaming, have a look around, and feel free to subscribe for more mobile gaming content. I've got lots planned for this year. Either way, I hope you'll have a wonderful rest of the week 👍

@@NimbleThor not gonna lie, CODM really improved since release and they add a lot of stuff improving the game that I havent seen in other big mobile shooter games such as a full on Gunsmith system.

Thanks mate. I'm glad you think so :) I try my best to always cover the latest and most interesting mobile games. Thanks for being part of the community, and I hope to see you around in the comments section :)
Kick flight problem is the matchmaking. The only downside that can't let you play. The only way to play real people or having matches is using VPn on japan server, but they're really strong.
i havent payed at all but i got kaeya from a wish before i got him tin the main story an then on my next guaranteed 4 star i got him again so i managed to get kaeya 3 times before getting a character u cant just get from the story
Oh man, haha. That sounds like a fair bit of unluck. Hope you're still able to enjoy the game :) And if not - hey, there are lots of other great games out there.
The video is about games that released in 2020, mate :) Honkai Impact 3rd is an awesome game, but it released years ago, so couldn't include it here, hehe.
Honestly mobile games that are fun and will get you hyped, is rare this days games right now are like the i.o games it's stupid and it's targetting kids I feel kinda shitty when I'm using my phone to play, I only play on my phone is stardew valley and geometry dash
It's funny you should say that, because that's exactly why I started this channel; to help people find the actual good mobile games out there 😊 Be sure to have a look around the channel if you're looking for something new to play that is worth your time 👍
@@NimbleThor yeah I looked into it I tried your recommendations then I was hooked I stopped using my pc I just played and played thanks for the recommendations
I'm really surprised to see you describe Arknights monetization as a shortcoming of the game. It's one of the most generous gacha around with plenty of free rolls, absolutely 0 need of high-tier units to clear even the hardest levels, no paywall, no adds and no possibility to buy progression. So yeah, pretty weird.
The monetization is absolutely not bad. I did, after all, place the game in the A-tier, which means it's an amazing game that is absolutely worth playing. When I said in the video that the monetization wasn't perfect, I was referring tot he game's energy system. But there's a reason I gave it an A-tier rank - and that is that I love the gameplay and it's well made 🤘 I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game so much, and I hope you'll have a wonderful rest of your week :)
Im always glad to see colleague gaming youtuber , to see how my fellow gaming youtubers make their videos of games , great video , i subscribed , keep up good work mate. 👌😊👍
as an Arknights player the [A] ranking is just right game is sometimes stress full but fun the story line is realy good Game events are hard Operators/Characters with a good Level system Game isnt money hungry you also cant just straight up buy Upgrade items you will have to farm for months for 1 max operator /Elite 2|M3 But [A] just cause Gacha luck
Nice! Super interesting to hear what you thought about the game. And glad that you agree on its ranking 😊 Hope you'll have a look around the channel if you're into mobile gaming in general 🙏
Hi,i installed teamfight tactics mobile but i think its broken, the graphics were on low so i wanted to change it but when i checked settings, there was nothing, just the audio and the accounts,no graphics and other settings,i checked all the champions but i didn't saw qiyana, syndra, sona, and etc.....and in which is saw them on RU-vid gameplays,i can't find my profile which is supposed to hold my battle history abd other profile stuff but there isn't,is that normal to you????
Thanks for stopping by. The way I ranked these games, anything from S to B tier is what I would consider games you should absolutely play! So a b tier isn't a bad score 😊 Which game are you referring to, and where would you rank it? 🤗
It's a game with so much potential, but it's severely lacking players :/ It's such a shame. How has your experience of the monetization been? In the early days, it was less heavy, but it's still not horrible now.
I know, mate... I simply didn't get around to playing it this year. I was quite excited for the release prior to launch, but by the time it finally launched, I had forgotten about it. Would you have placed it as an S or A-tier of 2020? :)
I used to play Sky last year and it was honestly the most fun, refreshing games I have played until it got repetitive. Once you finish the last section with the big door, don't play it. I am serious, just delete it. You will have had the most fun you can get out of that game. I wish I knew this before purchasing a 15$ pack just to quit it in a week (I am now quite sore bcs I had forgotten all about it). I have spend the exact same amount on Genshin that I have been playing since its global release and I don't have any regrets whatsoever unlike with Sky Edit: You don't have to spend any in both games, in sky I purchased a monthly pass kinda thing for limited time cosmetics and in Genshin I bought 3 welkins (56 summons worth currency by logging in for 3 months in total) and it was absolutely unnecessary if I hadn't wanted a certain character that much. You can obtain many 5 star characters and weapons as you progress through the game. I, for example have 16 5*s. I could have gotten even more had I been lucky
@@NimbleThor Same, I downloaded it a few days ago and was loving it only to find out it was shutting down which really upset me because it's hard to find really good mobile games and I would of loved to have played Kick Flight for years but sadly not
I was really hyped for the game prior to its release, but I missed its launch and never got to play it, which is why I couldn't include it in this video. I feel fairly confident that I would have placed it as an A or S tier though. How would you rank it? 🤗
@@NimbleThor Guardian Tales is 100% S tier. You should watch Gacha Jay's tier list video. It was the only one he rated above 9 points and it deserves it. The game in insanely funny, fun, has an incredible story, mediocre to bad graphics, decent graphics, amazing pve, fun mechanics. I've been playing it for months and I still love it. Also, the dev team is insane and they really pay attention to what the community says. Each update is hype af and it's a great experience. No mobile game has quite grabbed my attention like GT and you should definitely try it.
