@@riccards its hard to believe you played since 2012/2013. playing the game is one thing, playing the game good enough is another. i remember in 2010/11 wasnt very good at playing games and so was my friend. i just know the basic.

My cousin in Germany was on both leopard 1 and 2 tanks as a tank commander started off as a first lieutenant. I got to look inside both and that's what made me join the army and go into armor and loved being on both M60 A3 and M 1 abrams.
the abrams irl is a powerhouse. it has better armour than the leo 2a5 and a turret ring of 700mm and not 70mm. if it got added to WT in its full potential it would dominate everything as the perfect, flawless tank. i really want this to happen, as i grinded so much just to end up with a miserable excuse for a tank that gets 1 shotted by everyrhing in 10.7
Not the only tank with issues in the game sadly. I think the STRV 122 and maybe some of the Russians are the only tanks with anything like accurate armour values.
@@ofekk213 idk from where you got that but, except for the Russian ones and the STRV 122, EVERY MBT in the game is nerfed in armor and all the APFSDS rounds have less pen than in real life. In real life, an M1A2 SEP V3 has more armor than the Leopard 2A4, but not more than the Leopard 2A5, 2A6 and 2A7+ that are the favorite MBTs around the world
Fun fact: About 3 years go i worked at a foundry when we got an order of 20 optic housings, took some time to work it all out but we got it sorted. They all went to an "unspecified" german tank ;)

20:00 That tiny little update where they made it so you can’t hear enemy tanks right next to/ behind you was such a bad idea. It made the shitshow that is ground RB even worse. It really highlights how awful their map design is. Just like how the awful spotting system in Air RB highlights the maps that are too small for top tier and way the fuck too big for low tier. God War Thunder could be so much fun if they just focused on the maps/ game modes/ mechanics for one patch. But they could never understand that changing the game up would make a bunch of their dead content worth getting again, just like the HE change made all the meme tonks viable again, which you can clearly tell is making the CCs happy.

Day 70: Hey Phly! You should do a public lobby with Phriends and Phans where each team has one VTOL plane, and the rest of the planes are reserve tier I planes. The objective would be to land the VTOL plane in a cap zone (you would use a tank map with a plane spawn-point), and successfully run down the tickets of the other team. Each team's tier 1 planes need to protect the VTOL at any cost. There should probably be a 30 second delay phor the VTOLs to take off because SPEED, but, do what ya want. Hope it’s PHUN!
that xm-1 is a perfect example of why war thunder needs big maps with longer lasting matches because it is impossible to make big flanks because you will be shot in the back by enemies who just respawned 5 second ago, would also help other countries compete with Germany if they don't always have to face leo2a6 frontally
...the thing is, the Leo is way nerfed in this game. In reality it is way stronger, has reactive and active armor protection, laser scrambler and tons of other things. It IS already weak in comparison but still way stronger than most other tanks.

Phly you need to take out the russian top tier with only HE, it makes fighting leopards and abrams fun. Just aim for there optics or machine guns on top of turret and watch them pop, it's glorious.
