While I do think Mabel was selfish in her actions during Weirdmageddon, I also think it makes perfect sense for her character because: 1. She's literally 12. 2. We know that Mabel is more emotionally driven than Dipper who's more logically driven and at that point she's absolutely being driven by the emotional buildup she experienced through the whole day until it finally came crashing down when she found out Dipper was gonna become Ford's apprentice. "I would've supported Dipper-" when feeling what Mabel was feeling? No you wouldn't. No one makes logical decisions when they're that upset.

Throughout the show, she's been one of the most useless characters. Dipper does everything for Mabel, but not the other way around, and they're _both_ 12.

@@ShinyTillDawn I'm specifically talking about her actions in Weirdmageddon, not her other mistakes. I know they're both 12, I literally pointed out how Mabel and Dipper have different maturity levels.

@@Lilly-i8q One example: Mabel is trying to pursue an older man by hosting a puppet show instead of uncovering Old Man McGucket's laptop's mysteries, leaving Dipper defenseless. Dipper sacrifices Wendy's halloween party, his lifeguard position, and other things to make Mabel happy.

First of all, I agree that Mabel was wrong to tell Dipper she would help him and then just change her mind, but she made the right choice in the end and apologized to him. Second of all, I think reuniting a kid with his family is a lot more important than impressing an uninterested older girl. And third of all, Dipper didn't sacrifice the Halloween party; he couldn't go because some evil Halloween monster would kill them if they didn't trick or treat.@@ShinyTillDawn

It’s crazy how much Mabel is so much like Stan and Dipper is to Ford. Stan: ruined fords machine to prevent him to going away to college Mabel: having a breakdown because Dipper was going to be Fords apprentice and causing the world to end.
