I’ve seen a lot from Motiversity .... this one cut me right off... I was in an auto accident on December 11, 2015 ... diagnosed with a C2 cervical fracture- told I may never walk again. God has a different plan for me and Motiversity has been a part of it - Thank y’all!! Today I am about 90% recovered. My neck heard perfectly- GOD STILL MOVES! Everyday.

I was medically rejected from my dream career after 15 years and it’s taken me 8 years to recover from constantly trying. Sometimes we need to accept and find something new to put our energy into. Don’t learn the hard way like me, maybe god is showing you there’s something better. I’m a female from Australia too with a never ever give up mentality. Look at the situation with open eyes to what the universe is yelling at you.

Honestly my life was one of leisure. And honestly because of this I doubted myself. I thought I couldn’t do it. Pass the test get the girl move my life forward. I thought I hadn’t faced enough adversity to learn to push through. But I failed to realize my adversity didn’t come from from where I started but from the struggles in relationships in my life from bad people in my life and letting go of people I love but that ultimately didn’t work out. My dad made me work in the yard growing up and I’m damn happy he did because I wouldn’t of known what struggle felt like without it. And now I know the feeling.

My buddy and I were on the Chicago Fire Dept. list, told my father this and I listened to him telling me that’s a lazy man’s job sitting around all day, blah blah, and now I know those firefighters work for their pay and it’s an honorable job. Well the new sign up list came up, I didn’t resign, my buddy did, he got in weeks later and I listened to someone else’s about my dreams, and I already had the training and college in my favor. Ran two businesses, rehabbed houses and now trying my passion again with another business, my father never understood me, never proud and he’s full of hate, that’s not me. I try to look forward and never look back and for sure won’t ask anyone about my dreams, they can’t understand my willing to win. Screw the haters, now I move forward and if you look bad because of my success, then that’s on you, get the hell out of my way.

My ex use to tell me whenever I tried a new challenge that I would fail then I was diagnosed with something that caused memory loss from clinical depression and so since about the last 21 yrs I've struggled with self confidence. I didn't know I had this problem until I found myself recently and am self aware I'll be honest I'm afraid I'm not good enough and I'm afraid to fail. I want to get rid of that. I know in my youth I was a high achiever and won AR everything I tried
