They said I couldn’t learn like the other kids. They said I was “special”. They said they know what I am capable of. They said I could never get ahead. They said I’ll never have a “normal mindset.” They said I was ‘different’. Yeah, I’m different. Yeah, I have a different mindset. But we are never born a certain type of way. We, no matter how different we are, can always achieve our dreams. They told me I’d never make it. But guess where I am now? I am in AP and honor classes, I am the smartest in my school. I ignored all the people that said I couldn’t, that said I wasn’t capable. I ignored, and pushed out all my fake friends. And I embrace my different. I embrace what makes me different. Yeah, I cried sometimes because when you grow up with people telling you that you can’t, it’s hard to get out of that mindset they set for you since birth. It’s hard. But it’s never impossible. Whoever is reading this, NEVER give up. No matter what ANYONE says. They don’t know what you’re capable of. They aren’t YOU. When I entered my AP classes, everyone was surprised. They didn’t expect me to succeed. But I did anyway. I don’t reach for the stars. No. I reach for infinity, and beyond. (Thank you everyone for your kind comments ❤️❤️)

I grew up with a learning disability. They told me in the 3rd grade I wasn’t reading at the level all of the other students were reading at. I graduated college and I’m heading on to grad school for clinical psychology. I have basically 3 degrees from undergrad because I wanted to take everything and I was top in my class. Don’t let people try and tell you mediocrity is your average. You’re above that.

Our opinion of what we deserve and what the universe determines we deserve are often not aligned...when I feel that way I sit and think could what I believe I deserve possibly be off or is life itself making a mistake? More often than not I land on the answer that its my view thats wrong based on the multiple times I believed something was true and found out later i was wrong. We should all just try to deserve more as often as possible and eventually we'll catch up to our expectations. Stay well friends

I am glad that I have watched this video. I have been walking in circles for so long that I got lost in life. Kept everything to myself until I broke down. I am now 29 years old, went to barbering school and actually went everyday and did it. Now I am emptying my past regrets, surronding my self with people which supports me and believes in me. There´s plenty of successful people that are just not happy. You could have nothing and still be happy. Just be happy with what ever you have or are. If you want to be better and have more things that´s fine, but that´s not a guarantee of happiness. Chasing the carrot and the end of the stick would leave you empty once you get it. See life is quick when you look at everyone else time flys but when you concentrate on yourself time slows down allowing you to take the time to push yourself , we all will have downs and up but beat yourself up you’ll realise slowly that I need to man up and do the work. You give up once you’ll keep giving up but if you don’t stop you’ll get into the motion of not giving up. So keep pushing keep striving and working hard as the end of the road it will pay off. I remember i worked out 7 times a day and I dropped it to 5 times I started getting ill and not feeling well I felt weak. So I decided to push my self back on to the 7 times a day and it was hard I wanted to give up and sleep in bed but I remember the people who looked down at me and I use the people who said you couldn’t as motivation as I could and I will. So guys don’t give up your stronger.
