I bought this 1 year ago and decided to make a video showing how it held up, the brand is called JACOOL, seems to be high quality and LOUD. This ALARM DISC BRAKE LOCK is a security anti-theft lock. I bought it for $22 on EBAY.
It works by locking the disc brake, which helps to stop the movement of vehicles and keep the security of vehicle.

It's a good idea to Always use the Cable. It makes it easy for a thief to see you have an alarm. It also makes it easy for you to see from a distance if someone has tampered with your disk lock. I use one in conjunction with a motion sensor alarm installed in my headlight housing connected to my handlebars. I lock the handlebars by the built in lock, set the disk lock then arm the alarm. If they try to roll the bike or break the handlebar lock, separate alarms go off, one that they cannot even see. In this way I have two locks and two alarms. I still plan to get a chain lock with alarm and a GPS.

Thanks for doing this video. The video is well done, and it helped me decide to get this type of lock for my scooter. The drone video was a nice (unexpected) bonus........very smooth flying and camera work. Now you have inspired me to use my drone to do some video of my scooter.

Yeah its definitely worth it it, i also have a 1year review video with it (with my grom) im also gonna make another video because it’s coming up to the 2 year mark now since i got the lock. Maybe i will make that video with my Yamaha fz07!

I dont have a gurage in my apartment and I have to use a cover. Will the bike cover slapping it in the wind make the alarm go off?

The cover won’t set it off. But almost impossible to take the cover off without setting off the alarm.

I even put a little c clamp on it to hold it down and then I sat there and the alarm went off about 10 seconds later so I can't even use a c-clamp on it

Don't buy the ones for under $20 I just bought one and it wouldn't push in it's just garbage make sure you get the one with the extra batteries like you got
