I think the X-SPR Pro would have been a better helmet to compare it with the pista and the R10

I used a leather hole punch to punch out perfect little holes on the ear pad of the Supertech that fits over the speaker, im still breaking it in. It definitely grabs when shoulder checking, but it's surprisingly quite and flows a lot of air. I have a track fit on it so wearing a balaclava is mandatory if I don't want to rip my ears off when going in and out of it. Looking forward to your opinion on it. I bought a Pista soleluna 2021 at the same time to A/B both to see which fit me best and sent the pista back. I liked both, but needed the speaker cut outs and preferred the extra room near my mouth. I'm still going to get another Pista though.

For me it’s completely different it’s loud but it has cut out and nothing covering it it’s a small gap between the cheek pads so my music sounds amazing on it and it doesn’t pull when I ride it’s cuts through the wind pretty well

The Shoei XSPR Pro (X15 in murica) is probably the best racing helmet for the price. Most comfortable, quietest racing helmet, only half the price of the pista and it looks very good. it also has very good aerodynamics.

They look good but honestly the colors are not the best in my opinion and it doesn’t look aggressive it’s also a good price but also not made out of carbon fiber

@@auroras1kk you're right but the helmet is not that old so there will be lots of colors coming i guess, and the helmet is made out of AIM+ which is similar to carbon and has the same security. it also more lightweight than the pista. only the look in my opinion is definitely not that aggressiv but its fine. i'll get the AGV Pista gp rr oro soon. i love them both 🙂

@@tbn.z900 dude that color is sick lol!! I like it! But yeah that’s true I just feel like for cutting through the wind the agv does that so nicely I used the alpine stars as a backpack and I felt like it wasn’t that good with aerodynamics

@@auroras1kk definitely, the pista is top notch in aerodynamics. my z900 is black red but in my opinion the helmet doesnt need to match the bike or outfit, so the ORO will be fire

I heard that there are no speaker cut outs on Pista but I see that your running a cardo. Do you feed the speakers a lot on your ears when wearing the helmet?

Good to see someone not selling the R10 give an honest opinion. I’m a helmet snob also 😉 and I own the agv and rf1400 and I’m on a preorder wait for the R10 in the same color. Have you ridden in the R10 yet?

Damn. I ride a Ducati Streetfighter. My shoei is great but it does not like speed. Anywhere north of 130 and it buffets so bad you literally can't see. At 150 it's just dangerous. (No windshield problems). And everyone said the R10 is brilliant with cutting through wind but, I also don't want a super loud helmet either. thanks for the response!!

@@charlesgutscher1923 the x-15 is good with speeds since it’s the race version and it’s a lot quieter than the r10 the r10 and x-15 after 120-130mph you feel a little drag but the drag on the 1400 is a lot way to much for me I don’t like it for speeds

im thining of buying a new helmet, i got around 600-650 i can use but here in norway we can only drive up to 125 cc at the age of 16. So im wondering if its worth it to buy a agv k6-s?

Shoei is better.. get a good helmet tho even at 10-20mph hitting yr head sucks and the impact can be much worse if a car smacks you.

Quality helmets will last you alot longer too. Better face shields with better fog coatings and pads

Both are very good helmets but I’m not sure how quiet the k6 is I can tell you shoei is super quiet and if you end up getting a cardo or sena it’ll be so clear inside the shoei also a helmet usually lasts 3-5 years unless an accident happens and you have to replace it and when you can go higher in cc’s the shoei will do great at keeping that wind noise out my buddy who had the k1 or k3 I’m not sure which one it was he said his agv was still loud and couldn’t hear cardo that well. I’m not sure if the k6 is quiet but I would try to find a review on how they do with wind noise that might help!

RF1400 or get a good deal on a RF1200 and get other gear with the money saved. Both are as good as any out.

helmets are a piece of safety equipment. an extremely important piece. they're not fashion. not trying to give you a hard time just want to make sure people know when a YT video says "best"in the title. that being said Arai make the safest helmets on the planet@@auroras1kk
