BTW > I had dunlop 402`s on my ultra ,got almost 7000 miles out of the rear tire , at $200.00+ , was not satisfied . Looked around and the american elite claimed more mileage harder center ,softer sides , again $200.00+ , right now I have 4900 miles on the rear tire and its gone ! Will I ever buy another dunlop tire ? Why are you pushing the metzeler 880 , instead of the metzeler me888 ultra ? Ive been looking at the comander ll and the 888 , some say the commanders get a little slick when they get wore down ? I ran metzelers ,an I think they were 880 on my 1200C ,got about 9000 out of the back tire , with constant 40 psi front and rear .
been running the Dunlops on my 2018 FLTRU, average 7500-8000 on the back and 9000-12,000 on the front. Tried the Commander 2's, they lasted longer but weren't as sticky and worse than the Dunlops in the rain. So have been sticking witht Dunlops, rather have a tire that sticks better than longer mileage as I live in the mountains.
@@williambalyx1053 Its a funny thing , I live in the mountains also , Im running 888 right now , and still no more dunlops for me . I dont do burn outs , red light to red light and etc..And I dont drive like Im in a car on a wet road , so its not me , its the cheap rubber tires at a expensive price . You run what ever you feel comfortable with , if I dont like the 888 , I`ll move to the commanders ,,,,
