Best Movies of the Decade - Breakfast All Day 

Great call on Phantom Thread. It's such a well put together film. The acting is unmatched. Vicky Krieps gives one of, if not the best performance I've ever seen.

Drive, for me, is the most rewatchable film of this decade. The soundtrack and Cliff Martinez' score work perfectly with Refn's visuals.

Right at the same time while listening to "2 Minutes to Midnight" by Iron Maiden from my MP3 player, to get into the New Year mood. -Jeff Cronenweth actually shot "The Social Network," I had to remind myself who shot "Fight Club" beforehand. -And I now want to see a "Locke" version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire".

OJ: Made In America is my #1 of the decade. I think it should be shown in every high school history class in the US. An absolutely seminal, important film. Having been dealing with depression for more than half of the last decade, I have loved movies that have reflected my daily life. The bleaker, the better. Prisoners, Incendies, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Sicario, Zero Dark Thirty, Shame, Nightcrawler, Gone Girl, Arrival, Macbeth, Miss Bala, Snowtown, Michael, 12 Years A Slave etc. In some weird way, those movies have me feel alive because they made me feel the most. On a lighter note, I also loved Paddington, Love and Friendship, God's Own Country, Testament of Youth.

The three BEST movies of the decade are 3. Mad Max: Fury Road 2. The Social Network 1. O.J.: Made in America SO glad Christy mentioned those three! But my FAVORITE of the decade is Birdman! That movie changed my life and it's the one that made me a filmmaker!

Moonlight and Parasite. I mean, they're very good films. But whenever someone just goes out of their way to shout out how much they freaking love them, I'd just be rolling my eyes. 🙄

He didn't seem to love Moonlight when he first reviewed it.

Ok . I really don't like phantom thread . I know everyone loves it. But I just thought it was boring . I'm all for slow movies call me by your name is one of my favourite flims. But I just didn't care about the characters. The acting is great but I was so bored.

I would have Inception and Inside Out in the top 10.

Despicable Me

I loved the first half of moonlight, but I found it completely distracting that they had a different actor playing the same character. And they literally looked nothing alike

Moonlight is terribly overrated. :(
