Bought mine from John. Great product, service, actually shipped Fedex and I received item in less than 48 hrs. Turns everything to juice. Tri-best set me up with outstanding customer service on the main plastic housing for the reason John explains. In a word, ooops, but they covered my warranty. John said he intended it to be this way. hi John, I have all kinds of health issue and starting to change my diet as you mention. but need an all purpose juicer for various recipes for all my ailments. can you advice to bring one juicer forward. you have many you tube and I'm lost at this point. thank you kindly

Hi Moses, In general, I prefer the vertical auger juicers, as they are more versatile than the horizontal ones. John I haven’t tried wheatgrass yet but want to. I have the Tribest GSE and was wondering would that work ok for it? As you know I also have their Slowstar.

Yes, the GSE can juice wheatgrass without problem. If juicing alone, it tends to create some foam, so I recommend alternate feeding wheatgrass and carrots or wheatgrass and celery for best results.

John, the one juice place in my area has frozen Wheatgrass juice.... Any ideas on nutritional value of frozen Wheatgrass juice?

Fresh Grown and Juiced Wheatgrass is best. Frozen wheatgrass can be used if you dont have fresh available. Nutrient content not only depends on how/when it was frozen, if it was thawed and re-froze as well as the how the wheatgrass is grown in the first place. I encourage people to do good, better best. Fresh is best, after that frozen or a good dried product would be better than nothing. When I dont make fresh wheatgrass juice (Which isnt too often) I take a powder.

Hi Dominican. In general, I recommend a vertical auger juicer for juicing a variety of items. Generally they do better than a horizontal model. I bought this juicer from you a short time ago, yes discountjuicers.com, to go with my Hurom vertical juicer that is down temporarily. I agree with the wheat grass but, I had big challenges with it to start with and came close to sending it back after or during the first time I used it. I have successfully used it to juice three pre-cut 8 oz packs of wheat grass. I have had challenges with it to create nut butter and frozen desserts but I will figure it out. I have successfully juiced grapes and pineapple but carrots and apples are a challenge. Anyway, it is a great 2nd juicer for leafy greens and wheat grass! Thanks John!

DiscountJuicers.com Well John, it was the Juice Guru Academy and the Juice Guru Community groups. Someone posted in the Academy Group the new juicer they bought and it was the one you compared to my Hurom H-AA but made by Hurom. I told her that basically it was a good juicer that you reviews and it actually came out ahead of mine. I mentioned your name and website as the place to go to. To make long story short as I commented on the other group a comment that his wife made about if you want to freeze juice, fill the jar to the top and I said that it would break or burst the jar and maybe injure someone when they reached into the freezer. I also corrected him once on the other group about fruit sugars, fructose. So basically; I wasn’t a “good fit” for his groups, the Academy was a paying group and I wasn’t paying, didn’t know, I mention discount juicers and you a competitor and he sells the same products, and, I contradicted him and his wife! Whatever! This was back in May and I was in the beginning of my extended juice fast I am still on, Day 153. I am also a trained raw vegan chef and I know a couple things about juicing. Anyway John, love your channels and watch almost all your videos, you are the source I send people to and mention you all the time, keep up the good work! Meanwhile, as a result of getting kicked out of the high and mighty groups I started my own Facebook group a few days later, “Ron Rawks It Raw”. It would be an honor for you to join and you are welcome to post links to any of your info/interests. It is an open group that I have used to help others and, post about my juice fast. Used my Tribest Solostar 4 juicer this morning with much appreciation and even more knowledge after watching three of you videos on the juicer. Thank you John! Juiced wheat grass with baby greens and red grapes, made a quart and drank it!
