Root beer is my go-to. However, I do have a whiskey and a water as a tag-along. Just finished a Montecristo #2 (Not cuban) with a RB, Whiskey, and water.
I too am an iced tea fan with cigars. While I grew up in the American south, I don't really care for their version of sweet tea. It's just way WAY too sweet, near syrupy at times. So I got semi-sweet or unsweet. Sometimes if I sweeten tea or coffee I may use honey or agave nectar, something other than refined sugar. But yes coffee is great too. And thanks for the info about cold-brewed coffee. I've never had any, I'll give it a whirl.
I used to occasionally have carbonated fruit flavor water but got off it for some reason. I remember enjoying it - thanks for reminding me to try it again!
Neat recommendations, Jim. The other day I had some Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice with a cigar (I forget which one, but it was a full-bodied stick); it was quite good. For those into IPA beers, check out Lagunista IPNA, a non-alcoholic beer that is very tasty. Cheers!
You are right, Sprechers is fantastic, I recently tried the Point sugar free root beer and it was very watery. I'll have to try maple root beer, it sounds good.
