BMW service center is an issue. The place where I live KTM service center is 12kms away and BMW service center is around 100kms away. A big reason to not buy a BMW right now. Hope BMW comes up with more service centers, as the 310's are selling like crazy.

I would love to go for G310R!!! Even after owning a Duke390 one goes for touring very rarely and mostly used for city commute!! In that even with some low power, BMW is a better pick for me coz of it's comfort and enough response for city riding!! Apart from these, brand value matters to some extent as well!! After paying 3L, one would love to sit on a Head Turner which Duke390 definitely not coz of it's old design and being a subject of availability in every here and there!!!

Mere paas KTM 390 Already hai. Lockdown ke pehle liya tha. Aur BMW G310r abhi Booking karaya hai. Dono chalaunga 😁 But KTM fast hai sab acha hai..fir bhi BMW maine chala ke dekha hai.. kafi comfortable hai. KTM kabhi kabhi chalane wala bike hai.. BMW dinbhar chalane wala bike hai.. Yahi reason hai maine BMW liya.

Good video, I like the BMW, if they would make it a 350 or 375, it would be perfect, I ride lot's of back roads here in America. Nothing wrong with KTM, I just prefer the BMW.

I love so much KTM DUKE 390 2021 BS6 engine. It`s a best bike for beginners I think so, and two features which I liked so much its fully digital instrument cluster with the control buttons on the handle bar and quick gear shifters without press the clutch!!!

Ktm is more fun to ride.. Never feels low on power..gives adrenaline rush.. G310 is more mellowed down and good for normal city commutes.. It's more like a powerful commuter. Ktm is for more matured riders, beginners will be more comfortable on the G310.. Inmo

Duke is amazing, performs well has better hardware but it also heats like hell, has lower ground clearance so I'd go for G310.

Service cost G310R is very expensive more than a 1000cc bike. Even the first service cost 6000+. Second service is 12k.

People should choose Apache 310r above BMW 310, Ergonomics are same, Same frame ,Same engine. Only difference is naked and Sport tourer category but Apache does make a good daily bike as well, Now come to plus point on Apache 310, Much-Much Better console, Riding modes(Doesnt matter for mature riders), TVS service centre availability, Glide through for traffic, Better for highway riding. BMW is not there to get against duke, Duke is class apart nothing can match the performance of duke + all the tweaks KTM provides, Console+ Modes+ ANd now quick shifter. Duke is a machine for sheer performance, BMW 310 is no where near to the affordability, Performance,Feature which duke provides

Everything was good in this review but you forgot the main thing, that blue and white badge on that machine. For me that's the biggest difference. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Always test ride both the bikes, seek some long term reviews, talk with service technicians and mainly most important part is always go for the bike which you feel good when you ride it. You need to get a connection with the bike, "Yes. This is one which I can live with" kinda connection. Never ever choose because of big brand logo or views in the public. This applies not only for these bikes, but for every bike. Happy riding y'all✌🏼

The only advantage of BMW over KTM is that it is a BMW. When u say I own a BMW bike there is a wow factor. Also consider the servicing cost of BMW will be far more than a KTM.

But the important aspect is service cost in which 390 is cheaper and the BMW's service cost is much higher. But riding bmw is a great feeling and when people will ask you about it woohhh!!!🤓🤓

The duke 390 is a monster hands down. I got the first new gen 390 is Rajasthan back in 2017 and I still love it every time i ride it. Dil toh KTM hi jitegi the only thing you are going to get with bmw is bmw ka tag that's it in nutshell. Far superior is KTM

I will wait for the brand new 2021 KTM DUKE 390 .. BECAUSE IT IS BEING SINCE MANY YEARS.. SO NOW THE COMPANY WILL MAKE SOME GOOD CHANGES. THE FACTS ON GOOGLE ARE THAT IT WILL HAVE A RADAR BASED CRUISE CONTROL,NEW COLOUR SCHEME AS WELL AS NEW CHASSIS ..

The only thing which I hate in Duke 390 is it comes with a single cylinder Bajaj engine which causes a lot of vibrations and heating and it's not from KTM and it's a 373 cc engine it's not even close to 390 so may be KTM should change this bike's name from KTM Duke 390 to KTM Duke 373 that's all!

Nobody is perfect but if you drive BMW you'r pretty close..😎

Only problem I would have with the KTM is everyone has KTM... Where as BMW is quite rare to see on roads.. and mostly people ride the bike in city.. and after that.. You get the Brand value ..and assurance.. okay service cost is high.. but you have to do it only once a year.. so for me..it would be BMW..

A real bike guy will always choose Duke 390. We don't want bmw badge, we need a powerful ktm.

Dude the rims are cracking constantly on the RR310 on highway rides. We had to have the rims changed 3 times till now and the waiting time is ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend this bike as it is basically a naked rr310. I don't trust the after sales service for TVS and BMW at all, when the spares take so long. Rather settle for a Bajaj, RE or KTM.
